Is the Prince of tennis an anime worth watching

Compared to other sports anime where does it rank in terms of storyline, character development and what not, because I've been thinking of giving it a go but never had that much interest.
Other sports anime that I've watched are:
-Major.
-Hajime no ippo.
-One outs.
-Giant killing.
-Initial D (Dunno if this counts as a sport anime).

Well all thoughts are appreciated.

It is worth watching out of all the sports anime there is it is my favorite. Also the character development has more growth than other sports anime.... I highly recommend it...also im not being a fanboyt

Thanks, started watching it, the only thing annoying about this anime is those 3 freshmen kids that's always hanging around the tennis club which for some reason i just can't seem to stand them when they start opening their mouths but other then that it's a pretty good anime been flying through it already on episode 54 in 2days.

Hmm. The question can only by answered by yourself alone but let me give you my opinions.

As from what i had heard, Prince of tennis was a great sports anime but I never appreciated anything about the anime.
I think it was kinda exaggerated? Well, the best sports anime was hands down. Big Windup!.

It was a great anime, but I haven't finished the story when the TV channel stopped airing the rest of the episodes..
