Hi guys, here's my first artwork post, while I get a hang of using the attachment system as well.

I just started learning to draw about a month ago. Currently using online resources such as Youtube. I use a cheap tablet(Genius), SmoothDraw and GIMP for my artworks. Everything on a budget

Here's a brief sketch I did. It's basically...well, I just let my mind wander while I was watching TV, so it's kinda a mash of magic and warrior and tech what-nots lol. Hope you guys enjoy it as much as I did!

Not bad...considering you're still new at it. The proportions can use a little refining, but you'll get better the more you draw. She's cute, fire magic...awesome!

However, the sword looks a bit cumbersome...and too wide for swinging motions. The purpose of a sword is not for aesthetic looks, but only being weapon. If the extra blades were made smaller, such as knives that would open at the hilt for projectile reasons...or for the use as extra hand held weapons...that would be better. Just work on it some more, it's great to have a cool looking sword...

That's a really good point about the practical considerations of a weapon. I admit I didn't really thought about that lol. Yep, gonna work on my proportions more too.

Yep, all of them are references. I thought it'll be good practice to draw from references first to improve my skills. Not good enough yet to create my own artwork.
