My First Mission

[Nervous]

Well today is the day I do my first military funeral as the member of a firing party. After only 5 days of training and some hasty uniform maintenance I'm being tossed from the frying pan and into the fire. Normally we get a lot more training, but our company is so short on people they're having me work on what should be a day off. I'd love to say I'm not nervous, but damn I'm pretty scared right now. If you mess up in the firing party everyone will notice. Well wish me luck yall. I'll need it.
