i liked the 2003 series bettr and i wonder how good the new one is going 2 be
"(One!) Live by the code of the martial artsss/ (Two!) Neva' fight unless... someone else starts/ (Three!) Always stick togetha' no matta' what.../ (Four!) If all else fails, then it's TIME to kick BUUTTT!!!!" I will always love the second series' theme song. They did good, they did real good... ;D
On another note, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles will have an all-new 2012 series airing on Nickelodeon, for those that don't know.
My Wi-Fi, it's gone out...
My Wi-Fi, it's gone out . . .
Yea, The first TMNT cartoon was the best. The rest weren't even better than the 3rd movie.
Man I used to worship the turtles when the original show was on. The more recent one was pretty good too... then there were the movies. Man... it was a great concept wasn't it?
Sais matters...
Oops, didn't see this thread...
None, that was a TV series. They also appeared in Power Rangers once

Anime is a lot like sex. Done right it's a beautiful act of creation that brings a little more light into the world. If it's sick and wrong... it's even better.

I liked TMNT:TNM (The Next Mutation) the best. That was on Fox Kids like ages ago.
And just now (I mean like just last month) they FINALLY got around to releasing Volume-1 of this show on DVD. http://www.amazon.com/dp/B0089BSOGO/
Expect Volume-2 to be released in December (according to Wikipedia).

Can't believe I entered this topic really, really, really late, but I feel I need to give my share.
God I love TMNT soooooo much. Like many children, it was my life. I started taking martial arts because of this glorious cartoon. Cowabunga, radical, gnarly, etc. were all part of my daily vocabulary and mantra. I have the 1987 Fred Wolf series on DVD as well as the 2003 series and the movies and my youngest brother still takes care of the action figure collection and we got ALL the video games. I loved the 2003 series for being more faithful to the original comic, its character and relationship development, and the action. The 2003 series episode of where they fight the Rat King where it is loosely based off the original comic version is sooooooooooo awesome. It is one of my favorite fights in an American TV show. I also loved in the episode where Casey Jones is first introduced, Raph on his motorcycle pays homage to Kaneda power sliding his bike in Akira.
TMNT regardless of its incarnation has been a big part of my life and always will be.
TURTLE POWER!!!

btw,I saw the first two live action films and they were good
Well it sure does bring back lots and lots of memories........
Here is a pic of me with Ernie Reyes, Jr. who played Keno in the second movie. This was 20 years ago.

Go ninja! Go ninja! GO! GO!
Go ninja! Go ninja! GO! GO!
If you know the rhythm to that phrase you are a 90s kid (and a cool one at that haha!)
So am I the only one who wonders why the turtles wear masks?

To hide there secret identities, duh. The same reason every hero wears a mask.
Like Blip on Space Ghost?
Hmm... I see. The universe would surely have been doomed had the fact that he was actually a monkey come to light.

No, the live action TMNT and the '80s TMNT cartoon are both still better.
