I'd tell him/her.
Baby's come from a machine that was created by alien's that randomly generate's a child.
So when i person die's another baby is simultaneously created. Thus its a never ending process.

Well...my 7 year old niece who lives with us asked me this today, I told her straight up XD partly because I despise her sometimes and partly because she's not my kid. Now if it were my own kid...I would probably try not to hide it, but not give it away too early either >.< and well, the kid has to know, right? Just not too early.

I'd say, that they came from my stomach to them, cause that's true. If they ask how they got out of the stomach, I'll say that I pushed them out through my belly button. XD

Sticking to topic, i would probbaly go with one mentioned above and move the question onto the mother ^^
but assuming im not gonna just pass it on i would say they come from there mothers stomach ^^ to be fair most know or quickly learn exactly what a pregnant person is they just dont know the concept of how they got to be pregnant so i suppose you can miss that part out with a child as there not likely to think that far into detail

It would really depend on their age. Though if they really wanted to know I would tell them.
