I never see anyone on any anime forum talk about this somehow unknown piece of art.
Seriously, imo this is probably the most tasteful anime I have ever seen, from the opening theme song (Radiohead plays it rather than another fad of the month r-rock band) down to the references used from history and how they are explained throughout the series.
If you like Ghost in the Shell style animation, a plot that leaves nothing to be desired and a dark atmosphere that isn't overly oppressing you will love this anime.

Yeah, I know it, I even have the DVDs. I like very much. It's so serious, I don't think I laughed even for a sec in watching the show except the episode where they got tangled up in some game show.
