But to keep this thread from being just a joke how much dice do AF members have? I have about 50. The most I own are D6 followed by D20. Least I have is a D4(I only have one :o)
Also what's your favorite die?

This is a Sig. It's horribly out of date.
I don't even remember what I have anymore. I should have most of them. In a box. Somewhere.
Voted D20 as skill checks are for manly men.
Hey look, Japan made a movie about me!
You're missing plenty of good dice. Like the D3 or D5. No clue how many I have though. Probably in a box somewhere like Eris. As for my favorite. Gonna go with a D20 too since it's the die lady luck carries.
I only have the simpletons dice.
ah, nvm then. I was thinking in terms of true polygons
The Brighter the Light the Darker the Shadow
whatever happened to D12+2s?
Technically a cylinder would count as a 3-sided geometrical object, though this could be debated as the "round" side could be considered to have infinite sides as much as it could be considered one "constant" side.
That and it rarely lands like that anyway. :P
Ontopic: I have no dice. I did once have a 12-sided die, but I lost it.
And now ... time for something completely different.

My signature was so old it broke. RIP signature.
There's no debate when it comes to circles. It's an infinite number of sides.
There isn't one, they're just novelty dice for the most part. There are a few games out there that might use them but mostly they're just for fun. And that logic may work for a d3 and d5, but what about a d30?
Except that'd give you a possibility of 40. Unless getting a 5/6 means a straight up 30 and ignore the second die.

Ok, you roll a d6. A 1 and a 2 on a d6 means that the number will be between 1 and 10. A 3 or a 4 is 11 -20 and a 5 or a 6 on a d6 is 21 to 30. The second roll(with a d10) will be tell you the exact number. So you roll a d6 and get a 3(the number is somewhere between 11 and 20) then roll a d10 and get a 7, so the number is 17. Or if you roll a 1(1-10) and then your d10 is a 0 then your number is 10. Any simpler?

D6, I'm retro. *shakes cane*
Much simpler way for d30:
Roll (d4-1)*10. If four comes up on the dice, reroll.
Roll d10, and add it to your previous number.
Ehhh, I dunno if I'll stick around. We'll see.
