Ever been made fun of???

Has anyone ever picked on you, or called you gay because of something you liked to do?Did you back down and stop doing the thing you loved cuz you didn't want to keep getting made fun of, or did you stick up for yourself and continued to be yourself, and not let anyone change you?

Plenty of times...actually...more than my fair share O_O;;; I get made fun of mostly in school and it's usually the Asian jokes ;>> But I don't really mind, it makes me laugh at those who try to get the reaction they want out of me I've sorta evolved to that point where I don't have to react or prove anything to anyone anymore :3

I am guessing you have do to the exact term "gay". Anyway, me and my friends jokingly call each other gay. It is not really a put down it is just silly humor to us.

I however have been made fun of countless times from people i did not talk to. A lot of it was just being called fat and other various jokes having to deal with weight issues. Yes, sigh, i was a fattie.

Yes, I have been made fun of most of my life, until I switched high schools.
I have only gotten made fun of badly twice in the last year.
Before that, I used to get made fun of all the time.
It just shows that living in an environment, influenced by bad behavior from a few people, can dramatically effect how everyone else will behave around each other.

I get made fun of all the time mainly because I dish it out. And when I dish something out I do it 'super-sized.' So I can take it... no problem. ^^

Rofl, only every day of my life :3 I was picked on all the time in school, until I switched highschools, like TVL did. I had pretty much everything done to me, shot (with a pellet gun) stabbed (Pencil twice, broken ruler once) spat on, puked on, beaten up, shoved off the highbars, stuff broken over my head, stepped on, trampled, pretty much anything you can name. And I'm being dead serious here.

It happens occasionally. I'm not particularly fun to make fun of though. I don't get offended or upset, and neither do I make fun of other people, so the person that makes fun of me typically comes off looking like a total jerk.

Oh, yes. I let the teasing bother me for a while and then I decided to not care and go with the flow. So they are all now wasting their life trying to put me down, because I know that it will never work again.

When I first joined secondary school it was always my height that was commented about by certain others.
"Your Small."
"OH THANKS FOR TELLING ME! I HAD NO IDEA! NOTHING GETS PAST YOU DOES IT SHERLOCK!?"

Most of my friends were small too, but over time we just shot up and got to (practically) the same height as the idiots that used to joke around about us. We weren't giants, but we did grow a lot over the years at secondary school. Soon after those people did not really hassle us anymore. I suppose that they matured too.

My maths teacher always call people in my class that. And my nick-name is Little Satan in her class O__o;; (I have the explanation, but I'd rather not explain here)

Picked on, well (maybe) no. Probably of my size is kinda taller than the average. But there is a case that my FRIEND was picked on by a different student. I stood up for him. The student was transfered out to a Sports School in that year, so good riddance, bye-bye bastard.

I may get picked on once when I was in Primary school. By a chubby kid >__> I still despise him till this day. He's still in that school, so it's quite easy for me to sneak a peek. Still small, and currently hiding from my eyes. HAHA, that's what you get for picking on me or anybody else. That's right little sucker, shutting up is the best thing to do now >8D

Also adding, I pick on people, but in a friendly gesture way. I made a very silent guy my friend using that strategy xD

Weirdly in my school I get made fun of for liking anime. I don't let it bother me anymore though.

When i was younger i used 2 get picked on 2 many times 2 count mainly because i used 2 ALWAYS hang out w/ the boys in my class, thnk God that i found a girl who did the same thing 2 give me support. i also used stop doing the things i loved cuz of the teasing.


Nowadays, i'm still picked on occasinally but i have closer friends who back me up. now wheni get picked on, i don't back down. i give them a piece of my mind and they back off. i think they're scared of me now that i'm a red-blue belt in karate!

There doesn't exist 1 person in this whole wide world which wasn't or won't be picked-up on >.>; People always pick-up on each other. Even if you have someone to protect you,that person will one day go away and you'll be all alone vulnerable in front of everyone. So yea this thread is kinda senseless.

When I was like 9, I didn't do anything because my parents said to not cause any trouble. But, later on I didn't care much. I advise you don't take crap from those jerkwads. If your teased and called to be gay or whatever just beat'em up. No one gets to decide on your sexuality.

A few times I have gotten made fun of. I started a new school, and I started wearing black alot (well not alot) but you know. And all the kidz in my class would call me gothic i'm freak cause I wear black or I worshipped the devil. And cause of what they all said I changed the way I dressed and started dressing more like the kids to fit in more. But when I got in 7th grade I stopped giving a care what other people thought and started doing my own thing. So whether they liked me or not it was there problem.
