I put PC because this will be the thread of the PC Version.
So it's official.



One of the greatest RPG's of all time comes to the PC, this August 24'th.

GFWL isn't as bad as it used to be. Still annoying but not nearly as much as some other DRM that could have been used.

Apparently it's a grozit system.

Don't know why he cares though, he's not buying it he says :P

Loved the game on the console... but I think it'd be A LOT more frustrating on the PC with lagtimes and point and click motion.... I can't see anyone enjoying it as much on PC as what they would on the consoles.... but this is coming from a guy who stopped playing because those damn skeletons keep coming back to life everytime I freaking kill them!!! IMHO this sequal all together takes a back seat to it's predacessor Demon's Souls

You have to use a holy weapon to kill the skeletons or kill the necromancer that controls them. Another console player here, I dont think I could ever play Dark Souls on PC, I would feel like there is too much coordination need to switch between mouse and keyboard. It would just become annoying to me and I would give more on that reason then on it being a challenging game. I played the hell out of Dark Souls and enjoyed every minute of it but for some reason I couldn't get that deep into Demon Souls...I dont know why though.

@KillerDragonX By leopard I'm assuming you mean keyboard. If that's the case, why would you switch? You'd use both at the same time. Not to mention you still have to option of a gamepad. I just hope they don't limit it to the 360 controller. Though chances are they will.

Namco is cool about this game. I bought the limited edition on PS3 for half the prize of a new game here(same prize you americans pay for new games), and I got an artbook, soundtrack cd, behind the scenes dvd and all inside a special cover.

The key-board and mouse support will apparently will be limited(minimal), they expect you to use a pad(whatever that is)
TotalBiscuit said that on the TGS podcast.

They won't improve on graphics that much.
And there's some rumours that the fps will be locked at 30.

Becaus PC is a tiny market in Japan. Sony(PS3) and Nintendo. Console country.
So they have little experience with making games for PC.

I'll post the vid of the podcast once TB uploads it on TGS(TheGameStation).

But I was talking about you not knowing what pad is. xD The game possibly plays better on a gamepad anyways.

Any idea what range of pads they're going to limit the game to? Just hoping it's not just the 360 one and that's it.

Especially since it's originally a PS3 game....I'm sure it will accept any variety.

Well, my main reason I ask is every GFWL game I've played only accepted the 360 controller.
