How long should Fairy Tail last?

**This is my first post, so hey guys!**
So, I started watching Fairy Tail last week and am LOVING it. I am already on episode 70-ish. However, I don't want it to last forever like some series.
So, how long do you think FT should last? I personally think it should last until a long arc with a main villain, kinda like Madara from Naruto, or Aizen from Bleach.

Welcome to AF. Idk, I mean the second series is currently airing, but my friends feel the manga is reaching its end pretty soon so late 2015 or early 2016 the anime will end maybe?
