Ever think of a great come back after an argument, when it was clearly to late, and think "That's what I've should have said!"?

If so, what? (was the comeback you thought of, I mean)

And, did you ever keep it on mind and use it in another argument, only to have it not fit?

I was having a fight with a friend and he call me a name that I cannot repeat at this time, but it end around that time because I had no comeback. About 2hrs later I thought of one, so I called him up and said, "you are."

I've had plenty of experiences like that...

I had an argument with a friend, two years later, for some strange reason, I thought of a comeback...

I forgot what it was all about now...

Me and my friends do that all the time. We'll start a mock argument and keep it going until one of us runs out of comebacks and then hours or even day days later start a new one with a comeback they/I should have used in the last argument! If you don't know you'd swear we hate each other by the way we argue and the thkings we say when we do argue!

I can't think of any that come to mind at the moment, but my default response to a personal attack is "Your dog has hepatitas". It doesn't work all the time, but hoo-boy when it does, it works wonders.

Yah that has happened to me before. I know the little spat me and my gf had tonight I thought of something I could have said to put a end to the fight all together but did not think of it until like 20 minutes ago. It was I could have just said work harder and it would have put an end to it. I didn't though and in all honestly that is probably for the better anyway.

Hmmm. Yeah, I've had that experience. I was arguing with a friend and I said something like, "You're nothing but an [explative]hole and that's all you've ever been. You screw me over until I've got no patience left!" He called me up about an hour later and said, "that's what she said." We laughed and we're friends again.

I think most people have thought of some awesome comeback only like six hours after an arguement ended. But yeah i have several arguements only to come up with great come backs way to late. I forgot most of them and the ones i remember i really shouldnt type down on the site :/ lol
