Hate is a bad word.
As for the humanity, I wouldn't say for all but for certain people it annoys me a little seeing posts that no one would really care about have a lot of likes or post in something that isn't much of a big deal. Another thing makes me wonder why would you like a post when someone is single? Erm... I wouldn't press like.

I only talk to a few people on FB. It just gets on my nerves when random people who hated my guts in high school all of a sudden want to "friend" me. It's ok for some things, but for any bullcrap just ignore it. I don't really get on there that much not just because of the nonsense, but my uncle(an Army Drill Sergeant) keeps trying to recruit me.

Man that is whack!

I have one friend that won't stop posting how great Ron Paul supposedly is and also tends to post a great deal of articles that are supposed to show off how she's so much more informed about everything then the rest of us.
Her posts really annoy me. She comes off as nothing more than an snobby know-it-all, and I find her worshiping of Ron Paul to be very annoying. If she actually knew what she was talking about she wouldn't be worshiping him. She's so biased; always quick to attack Obama, but never to attack Santorum, Romney, or Gingrich. As if they aren't a part of the problem.
Anyway, enough of that. Most other posts don't annoy me. Some friends used to constantly post religious stuff. Like they'd post scripture and talk about how great God is. Being the atheist I am, I find that a little annoying naturally (but I respect their right to post it and would never say anything about it to them), but some of them were posting that kind of stuff every time they updated. For some reason that stopped and they don't post about it as much as they used to. Although one girl recently posted an image saying "I'm a Christian, and I'm not afraid to admit it".
That made me facepalm. As if in the 'great' state of Oklahoma which is controlled by fundamentalist Christians you have any reason to be 'afraid' to be a Christian. The very fact that they think they have any understanding of what it is like to actually be 'afraid' to be something is flat out ridiculous. There are places where Christians are persecuted, but Oklahoma isn't even remotely one of them.

Oooh I know EXACTLY what you are talking about! *shrugs* During high school I didn't go in such a good class, we where very... "divided" so to speak, like 3 tiny classes in one big. Some of my classmates I barely even talked to at all during those years, in fact I even hated some of them. They just "looked down" at some people and even thought they never did that to me I still can't stand people like that... Have gotten friends requests from them after graduation and I have never replied to them, why should I? We never spoke during our time "together" in high school so why on earth should we be "friends" now? This strange phenomena is more strange then Sparta... And that says something.
I have just left their friend requests alone, never even thanked no to them. That way they can't send me new ones because it already says they have sent me one. Mohahah!!!

Facebook destroyed my will to fight the mandarin, now i'm confined to my room watching reruns of starsky and hutch while eating fruit loops.
@SuXrys , That's ok. It's one of those, you kinda have to be there and see it all to understand it all type things. And what record?
And @Tony Stark , Watching Starky and Hutch and eating fruit loops sounds like an epic way to enjoy life. Why ruin it by dealing with a super villian?
The only benefit of Facebook is that chain emails and lolcats appear on the feed and not my email
And events... They're the only reason i log on
I mainly use facebook to post pictures of my child for my famiy and friends to see and to play Words with Friends with my mom. Other than that, what's the point? I usually keep out of the stupid stuff and debates because they get rediculous really fast. Most of my friends are those that I've met IRL, but a few of them I have met online and trust that they won't spread pictures of my daughter around. Recently, however, I deleted a lot of my friends that I realize that only talked to me when I was pregnant and were "hoping that she would be born on their birthday" or "wants me to name her after them." Real rude and disrespectful. Also, through facebook, I disowned my own sister for taking family matters onto my album with pictures of my daughter. I don't take things like that lightly.
There is no absolute right and wrong. People judge as right what they personally consider pleasant, and judge as wrong what they personally consider unpleasant. Convincing others of what is right cannot be equated with teaching the Truth. It is just teaching others to agree with you. It is not about putting an end to error, but putting an end to opinions contrary to your own perceptions.~Lao Tzu
If anything, it makes me hate the fact people act like facebook is the center of the universe.
Though I have Fb I hardly check the wall (or main page). My facebook link directly takes me to one of the groups I'm part of and most of my Facebook conversations happens between the 5 groups I'm part of - I think this i one of the best things about Facebook (though they removed chat for big groups )

I freakin' love Facebook. I never get tired of it, tbh. xD It's Twitter that I cannot STAND. :/
Really all FB has done has exposed so many of the people I thought I knew, to be actual decent humans with raw emotions.
They're never afraid to speak their minds or say what they feel, they only use FB as an outlet.
What if I post about Ron Paul consistently as a means of support, rather than being elitist (although that's inevitable when speaking about politics, but some intentions are more nobler than others, I'd say.)
And I also dislike Gingrich, Santorum and Romney, and President Obama? It sounds to me like your friend is a hardcore partisan.
When is it not okay to post about politics on facebook? Where is the fine line?
FB didn't change my view of humanity...humanity had its sucky points before FB existed. But-I do not approve of FB in general any way. Things freaking creepy as hell.
I joined it once...a LOOONG time ago. A couple years before the thing went bloody viral, I had put absolutely ZILCH on my "profile" as it was. And It wasn't even my real name-yet some how-when I went back after it had gone viral-FB was offering me to be friends with people on it that I did know..and they didn't know I had an FB at ALL. That creeped me the F- out-I So I never did anything with it. And never will either. Ever.
My phone, AF, IMVU, AIM and MSN work just peachy keen for "social networks" for me.

Nope, my Facebook is mostly random people from high school that never talked to me, yet thought I was good enough to be a +1 FB friend, and I've know them to be idiots even before I got on Facebook.

No power in the 'verse can stop me...
Nope.
I mainly use facebook for games and wish I could hide game posts from people who don't play that game.
I don't hate all of humanity, just the general population. Like for example, a former classmate who was once by best friend posted this as a status: "I ♥ Oreos!!". SERIOUSLY? *facepalms*
