Let's talk about Asian food here. XD I know you guys like it. But just don't talk about Japanese or Chinese food, because it's waaaaay too common. (No offence)

What is your favourite?

I personally love my country's (Indonesia) food and I am personally in love with Indonesia's Gado-Gado (Wiki) And I LOOOOOVE Thailand's Tom Yam (Wiki) .

Well, I am a cook myself so i have tried a variety of Asian cuisines.

I can cook myself too. But I would definitely would love to cook some Korean food.

I'm a big fan of Asian food but since I know so many Filipinos, that's the kind of food I most often eat. I like pancit especially but also lumpia and adobo. I also eat a lot of Udon and sushi, and have an obsession with dangos since I watched Clannad.

There are also pancit and lumpia in my country. I like them so much, especially if the lumpia is with chilli sauce.

i'm a huge fan of Indian food, it's the only forgn quisine i can cook without totally funking it up.

But you haven't tried Filipino street food such as lechon, chicken balls, halo halo, etc. Everywhere you go, there will always be a food vendor selling amazing food. I even wish to live in the street because I know I won't go hungry. lolz

Its more fun when someone would make the food out of scratch and the right ingredients is used to make it. I'll be babling around how much I miss Hong Kong, its only because the food is really REALLY good. The one dish I love to eat it shark fin soup. The thing is, I'm real picky when it comes to what kind of shark that is used for the soup. If you ask me, the best shark to have in the soup is tiger. It's really tender and tasty, well... I can't necessarily describe the taste. Just try it out for yourself. I can't live without pekin duck, my grandma's pekin duck is the best. ;_; Now the talk of it makes me miss the food my family would make. Jiaozi is my favourite food of all time, I make it whenever I have the chance. The preperation is a living pain in the butt, but thats okay. I love it and my mom makes an amazing sauce with it, then I eat it with garlic fried rice. ♥

I eat a variety of traditional Chinese and Filipino food. Now, most people I know, they never tried real Chinese food. Its the best. (: Now what I love with Filipino food, its a combination of Spanish, Chinese, sometimes American and traditional Filipino food all in one. Yeah, its all good. To be real honest, I don't like Japanese food. Theres no flavour in the food, but their candy and sweets, I love it.

I like Japanese food. I haven't had Chinese in quite a while. There is a Japanese place near where I work, so I eat there all the time. My favorites would be yakisoba and well...teriyaki anything.

You mean those 'cha siu bao'? (Sorry I'm not very good with pinyin, despite being Chinese myself. >.>) I like those too.. and so does my dog. I get him one every year for his birthday. :L

Well, since I am 7/8 Chinese by heritage, I'm obviously going to like Asian food. I like pretty much anything Asian (the rest of my family tree goes over like the whole of Asia.. and a little of Europe. :L), with one exception.
I cannot eat chilli.
It makes my throat die for a whole fortnight before I can talk without coughing at the end of every sentence.. which is pretty pathetic.
Even my family tells me how pathetic it is.
There are so many amazing Asian dishes with lots of my favourite things in them.. and also lots of chilli... which is a shame. >.>

I'm Laotian, and I most likely like Laotian and Thai food. Bamboo soup, Pho, Jook, egg rolls, Thai Iced Tea, and many more.
Also, egg rolls and spring rolls are completely different things. Egg rolls are fried, spring rolls are fresh.

You're right, I've only had Filipino food made in America, I've never actually been to the Phillipines so there's a lot of native "street" food that I've never tried. I did have lechon and something called bangus, lechon is just like a pig roast. Also had the chance to try something called a balut but I passed it up when I found out what it was. I also love Filipino dried mangos, I buy bags of them when when I go to the Asian grocery store up the road from here. I like Indian curry too, especially if it's really spicy but I admit I'm a novice when it comes to preparing it myself. I usually buy the premade curry mix but sometimes I'll order at the local Indian resturant.
