Sora no Otoshimono dubs?

Does anyone know if Sora no Otoshimono is going to be dubbed or not? I heard Funimation has the rights to dub it if they want to, but are they? Can someone please help me out? I'm about to buy the DVD's to SNO, but if they're going to dub I'm going to wait for the dubbed version to come to Best Buy or whatever. So if you know anything please tell me, I really need some help. Thanks.

Yeah, they're definitely going to dub it, if they haven't already. Check out ANN for the cast they've already set up. As to when it'll come out, that's a different story altogether. Could be a couple weeks from now to a couple months from now.

You're right. I looked on ANN and they have an english cast but nothing about releasing it. I checked funimation's site and they dont even have it listed as coming soon or anything. Should I buy the subbed DVD's or should I wait for the dubbed ones to come out? I'm not sure :/

Well, Funimation does have quite a long list of licensed anime, many of which they have yet to release or even announce a suitable cast for; indicative of their promotion tactics, but leaving quite a bit to the imagination in terms of when we'll see it.

I'm more a fan of the original subbed series, so I'd suggest going with that. Funimation does tend to release their dubbed series, at least the first few episodes, for free, so perhaps it would be worth checking that out and seeing how good a job they do before you decide anything for certain.

Yes, their list is huge! And you're probably right, some original subbed series like Sora No Otoshimono, is going to be hard to copy, Tomoki is so funny in this show. I just have that feeling that the dub might not be good as the original, like for Tomoki's voice, iI don't think it will be as funny dubbed, just as an example. So I'll probably just get the subbed DVD's. But anyway thanks for your help! I appreciate it!
