Do you remember any animated movies from a long time ago that are almost nonexistant today?

lol Of course I would remember them, along with others like The Rescuers and All Dogs Go to Heaven. I really did enjoy Rock-A-Doodle a lot, much like the Aristocats.

Pretty much every Disney film from before 2000 and even a few after that point. Most of the stuff I can actually remember though are things like Toy Story that are for the most part still popular amongst their intended age group. My sources are a few of my friends with some younger bros and sis'.

I do have a collection of some of the original Little Nemo comics from like the 1920s. It was released in Japan 2 years before it was in America.

Watership Down is absolutely classic. John Hurt is an easy way to mlake anything instantly awesome.

Secret of Nim is also great. It managed to create an excellent mythology based around rodents.

Plague Dogs is absolutely depressing, but also great.

gods I knew them all... There were things involving foxes and Thanksgiving, Scooby-Doo... movies that haven't been shown in so long that most people under 30 don't even remember them...

The worst movie to put in the children's section ever!

Besides that, I don't know how 'forgotten' these are, but the Fievel movies!
I absolutely loved 'Fieval Goes West', even more than the first movie.
One of those rare times when the sequel is better than the first... in my opinion anyway >~<

"The Nutcracker Prince."

I always wanted to see it, but I have no Idea where I could find it. I was supposed to see it when I was a Kid, but we could not find any Theatres playing it in time. I really wish I had it. Peter O'Toole did a Voice in it.

Loved The Last Unicorn, the book is excellent too, the movie serves it really well. The Secret of Nimh was also really great, a classic. Heavy Metal is also kind of an overlooked Cult Classic, for years it wasn't available in any format. It a great flick with a nice blend of different animation styles. It's for adults, but if you haven't seen it, you should check it out. If you really want to go searching for something you probably never heard of seek out an animated film called Lightyears. It's a weird story with a lot of crazy character design. Was released on VHS back in the late 80's and to my knowledge has never had a US DVD release. I think overseas it's called Gandahar. I bet someone has the entire film uploaded on YouTube.

i remember being excited to go to Grandma's house when i was little because she had the Aristocats there, and i'd watch it every time.
All dogs go to heaven and the Fox and the Hound were two of the very few movies that could make me cry.
Just gotta love the classics.
