I don't know why I started watching Rosario + Vampire, but I did. I am a girl. I didn't really like the... y'know, sexual scenes, but overall, it was friggin' hilarious. It is a magical girl-harem-romance for those who don't know, aru.

Ok?
I'm a girl.. I've watched it, and watched way worse.
No shame in the sexy.

I don't think gender should really matter when it comes to liking an anime.
I mean, I've enjoyed plenty shoujo manga & anime.
I watched the series in grad school. After enough quantum mechanics or whatever I just wanted to let the brain take a break.
That said, there weren't really "sexual scenes" in the way more people would interprit that term. But I think I get what you mean. I suppose when you get down to it, it was a very social series and was mostly about the girls.
Actually now that I think about it, I think a number of harem anime are like that. In the sense that the females are special, whereas the guy is normal and if anything rather unimpressive and maybe a little pathetic, and there are a lot of social dynamics and situations. Some seem like the formula is to make a series that would otherwise be aimed at females, but then you shorten the skirts.
I rather liked the patheticness, aru, but I think I'll just stick to shonen from now on.
Chara design in the Anime series is singularly fetching, IMHO. i especially like the way the expressions are done; so Kawaii♥
Don't worry there's no gender discrimination in anime..it's ok to love what you love...no holds barge
I've watched it too, and I really liked it. XD
I even ended up recemending it to my younger sister. :3
So why do you like it? And why are you ashamed of liking it?
Anime is a lot like sex. Done right it's a beautiful act of creation that brings a little more light into the world. If it's sick and wrong... it's even better.

I gave up on Rosario about 4 eps in. Harem's are not my fave but I'll give anything a go. I just found this anime very boring and lacking any originality, or anything to really set it apart...
Lots of girls watch shows like that... Like me, for example. xD I didn't care for Rosario, though, aside from Mizore. I prefer more recent harems like Haganai and Haiyore.
Has the manga series ended yet? The anime kinda leaves me wanting more... like an ending.
I mean I get the kid is getting vampire-like powers... did he turn into one like he should? Did he become like Renfield and have to serve her? Something else happen? Did they split her into two permanently? And what is her father's real plan?

While that anime was mostly fluff, the manga actually got really good as it continued.

I reluctantly started watching it on Netflix and it's honestly not too bad. It doesn't take itself serious and it pretty much lets you know that from the beginning. I haven't read the manga.
Pretty sure I'm a girl. And my favorite anime genre is shonen, which literally means "boys". I like anime meant for boys. So there's that.
i was reading Rosario + Vampire and some guys were giving me that "WTF" face XDD
