I like Dynasty Warriors all of the games are good. I like the feeling of like you versus a whole army, that always is fun
Oli Syckes=Sexy Beast
Gundam sucked. It made me sad... I still don't have any of the 6's. They're still on 6 right?
Dynasty Warriors is not that great unless you are doing co-op. + It has not changed much over the years...Improved graphics and a few new characters, thats about it.
I love the warriors series, I have DW2, 3, 4, 4E, 5, 5XL, 6, SW1, XL, 2, WO, 2, and gundam musou (yeah I know thats a lot :P)
I liked all of them except DW6 and the first PSP game which I traded in for twisted metal, and Im cautiously looking forward to 6E, though the games are getting kinda stale.
I really wish theyd spend a little more time on the game and really flesh it out, like spend 2, 3, or even 4 years and just make 1 really good 1 for each gen, instead of taking the EA route and pumping out yearly sequels, especially since this was by far my favorite series early last gen.
Orochi is fun, any recommendations for the best??
Empires doesn't require much strategy. Really all you have to do is make alliances with everyone adjacent to your lands and help the gain more land. Then when they own a lot of provinces, you stab them in the back.
I like DW5XL the best but it's not for 360 afaik.

Thanks you guys, It doesnt matter what system, only ones I dont have is a wii or a 64(sold it long ago)
I like the series, but I kinda feel like their tumbling downhill.
I mean what more can they do, since its basically repetitive gameplay in the first place.
I havent played the sixth installment, but seeing as it added few features I'd suspect the gameplay to be the same along with a couple of new characters.
The thing I did like about Dynasty Warriors was the create a character, which wasnt a feature in DW6 I think.
I just like the feeling of your own character rampaging about destroying and pwning armies.
If they made the character creation more in depth and descriptive, from scars to skin color to move attributes.
I think I'd actually be addicted to DW.
I actually prefet DW4 for the ps2.
And DW5E for xbox360
xD

i love there games. but the new one dynasty warriors 6, eh i thought it could of been better. with more characters or something.
Its fun - but each new installment is basically the same as before so it has little to make you want to keep buying.
I think they really need to overhaul their story telling methodology - make it more interesting than it currently is - make characters a little more indevidual. Essentially open it up a little bit more like an RPG
OR
Make it more like a fighting sim with different moves for each character beyond mashing 1 button for the whole time - like Tekkan. That would at least add a lot more interest in battles and add some new life.
I that DW 3 and 4 and nothing else- they just don't add enough for me to feel the pressure to get another.

There are no rules. They are just words on a piece of paper.
6 wasn't as good as the rest and gundam sucked...i am completely dreading strike force for psp
When there is nothing left to protect then what do I fight for?
It was a amazing series , i have been fan of this game for years now. And their more series like samurai warriors 1 and 2 , and SW : xtreme legends and warriors orochi , those were awesome too....have no words. And yeah i am too much obsessed with this game.
And the lastest one was great , DW 6 , awesome graphics , some new features also added....and the characters design is marvelous.
Honeslty , its characters are the main thing which atrracts me to it.
i have long list because of that whenever asked your fav video game characters , cuz half of them are from these games.
But even if it werent good enough , i would have been still playing it because whenever i played this game , it made me stick into it for hours and hours , constantly gaming.

I love Dynasty Warriors. Number four was/is my favorite.
Tamaki-Sama
No one liked 6? I've followed the series since PS2, and by the time 5 came out I was about ready to rip my hair out. DW6 FINALLY added some simple changes that made the game much better (and to be honest, should've been put into the damn game four versions ago at least).
I liked the talent tree, the changes to Sun Shang Xiang were disturbing, the levelling up system wasn't too hard, weapon skills and weapon types added variety for play style, and for god's sake you can finally SWIM and CLIMB THOSE FREAKING LADDERS.
Lu Bu is still overpowered though.
Copy pasting in the game industry. DW 3 was my favorite. I like the version for the game boy too. Portable hack and slash boredom killing goodness.
I'd like it more if you could turn off allies and play by yourself. Nothing I hate more than 30 allies that fade in and out making the bad guys fade in and out. Causing you to hit nothing.
The only thing I could see them doing that may actually be better would be making it more RPG'ish and have lots of customizing, choices, and other things that make some RPG's better than the rest. and or make an MMORPG out of it. Not neccesarily the Three Kingdoms tale based game. But I think its a good idea.

Lu Bu? I remember entirely owning him with a rapier custom character in the battle of Hu Lao Gate on DW4 by stealing Red Hare from him and ramming him in the corner while slashing.
Lu Bu was great in 4 where there was that thunder orb and you did the Attack Attack Special combo over and over again. He wasn't too good in 5.
Oh and Ling Tong (or a character with his moveset and weapons) owns. Seriously... just Attack Attack Attack Special every squad you see.

Dynasty Warriors 4 remains to this day, my favorite game made for any console ever.
Samurai Warriors 2 is a REALLY good game. Made by the same team as DW. Essentially the same thing, but ninjas and such.
open up your mind
and let some
thought inside
In both 3 and 4 Lu Bu was practically untouchable because spaming that move endlessly created a knockback area of death around you every 2 or 3 seconds. Boring as hell, but it' was an easy way to win the later levels.
He was also pretty good as a NPC in RotTK. He had a natural 100/100 War rating and the best +War weapon in the game. He was too horrible at every other stat to make a decent PC, but it was always worth it to find him and become BFF and convince him to join you/your lord. Having a friend that can demolish almost anyone in the game is handy.
