I would go with Lycanthrope, I believe it has a lower LA and fewer restrictions. Maybe Half-Vampire...

If I had my druthers I'd go for Paragon, though.

i would say vampir because of what i have seen on t.v warwolfs age and vampires dont also warwolfs only transform on full monlite and vampire dont age at all they live for ever. plus vampires are faster and all of that.

I think, without looking, it's any living corporal creature with 5 or more HD (except the obvious standouts, like vermin, oozes, outsiders) that gets bit by a vampire. Otherwise, humanoids become vampire spawn.

There are bloodline rules- essentially it lets you create Dhampirs.

EDIT: Yeah, the Libris Mortis says a lot of things. I think there's also a vamp that uses claw attacks for its energy drain, making it pretty much annoying walking death.

For starters, they DON'T actually die in sunlight, they AREN'T allergic to garlic, and they DO NOT sleep in coffins.
I love vampires ^.^
