Yeah your stuff looks pretty good,though I will say I never cared for that scratchy sketch shading style they try to peddle in school.
Though the movement is coming along well.Keep at it.

Thanks!
I'd just like to quickly clarify that I haven't made an attempt to develop my own style yet. I'm just trying to learn how to draw first >_>. Last edited by Lola Granola : 11-11-2009 at 12:36 PM. |

Life is very nostalgic;

Very nice. I love the detail your give to the human body. Also, the rose you did, both of them, are very beautiful. They look really profssional, as do all your drawings. Keep it up! |

I've never taken an art class beyond 7th grade and have yet to receive direct professional help on drawing. I've gotten great advice from people on AF though! I'll probably see if I can start some beginning drawing classes the next cycle at my local community college.

Same here.. No classes for moi. I too wanna at least try to take some though!
It would be fun just to interact with other people who like to draw and stuff. the only thing I can really recommend for you is to add your own personal touchto everything you do and it will come out a master piece. With or without classes. Just be yourself and be creative. |

Haha worry not about that. For some reason really getting into doing heavy shading and the like took a lot of work and courage. After all, it's easier to fix lighter mistakes, right?
Anyway, these are looking GREAT. You actually have a really good handle on drawing anatomy how you see it. Keep at it!
