My two favourites are L and Misa. L because he's very bright and his deduction skills are amazing, and Misa because she stuck with Light even though she really knew what was going on.

Oh definitely Near. L was a great character, but Near came onto the scene...I loved him automatically. He's like L, but he managed to do what L couldn't (because Light got him). I just think he's cute, intelligent, and I love the doll concept with him playing with them that one part. When Death Note first started, Light was my fav. character though. When I still thought he was a good guy lol.

i'd say L, cause he's an amusing character to watch and he's always got something sweet to eat. if there were to be a runner up it'd be near cause he's always got some toy to play with
