Well the only one I can think of is Please Teacher. That anime was pretty good I guess. I can't say Love Hina fairly, because I've only seen the first 5 episodes.

Some of the best romance animes that i watched were ..

-Fushigi Yugi , beautiful story and i can watch this anime anytime.
-Nana , i loved the characters of this anime , fun to watch. ^^
-Paradise Kiss , with 12 episodes and obviously , can watch this one 100 times again and again. Cried a lot in the end , nice ending still. *_*

RomeoxJuliet... and probably Fruits Basket too- Romeo and Juliet is my fav Shakespeare so i guess that one makes sense, and i like the modern twist (being in Neo Verona) and i love the comedy in FB ^^

Clannad - Nothing ever came close to Romance as that show in my opinion...
Kanon - I actually liked the Mai and Sayuri relationship! and it was okay but yeah didn't have romance lol
5cm per second - I almost was moved to tears...
so I would say the Number 1 Romance type Anime is Chobits! I mean come on, an Android loving a Human?
