Ummmm the 2 don't REALLY go together but I loved how this shoot turned out!

The shadows from the blinds really make it look interesting. The colors of the candy wrappers also give it a nice contrast, I think. =D

i like them, the 2nd one is great. theres like one on top of all of them and its nice i find....but i want sweets now...

I like the angle of the first one, but the light is way too intense because of the white.
The second one seems a bit too styled, with the positioning of the black tootsie roll. Doesn't feel right.

i agree the black tootsie should not hav ebben included int he 2nd and 3rd one it desturbes the balance,but all and all its a good picture,i like the first one the best

When I decided to take a set with tootsie rolls as the subject, I wanted it to convey a sense of tradition. I think the first one might be a little more obvious since the subject is so stand alone. With the second one I tried to do that by putting the single, original tootsie roll above all the other flavors that have come out over the years. I can see how the color contrast can throw people off but I think the centered position of the candy helps keep a balance.

I liked the idea behind the second one, I just think the black tootsie roll would have felt better if it was positioned just a little bit higher. Or well, not higher, but, the gap made by the blue tootsie and the yellow tootsie gives the impression that something is missing. I think that's what's making it not feel right for me.
