a shot I took some time ago and kinda forgot about it.

sadly it is a bit blurry, I think I forgot to disable IS :/

So cool O.O not many people can take a shot like this ^^ at least, I've never seen any before this one.
Amazing set by Ezza Obsuna ^^
The days fly by and the feelings remain
So far away and causing us pain
That's okay we'll make it through
Soon we'll get to say "I love you" ♥
Nice picture
be careful about Bluts waves when looking at the full moon

Isn't IS supposed to work against that sort of blur? =? Tho it's barely noticeable. The blur, I mean.

IS is a double edge sword .... the whole idea of it is that it uses a micro motor to add vibration that gets in syncro with your hands trembling, thus reducing the blur caused by your hands ... if you use tripod that backfires producing unwelcome blur by the IS motor continuously trying with finding a correct syncro (vibrating) ....
hope I made sense o_o

Yes, that's what I was going to say. A proper moon shot should be done on a sturdy tripod, meaning that IS should be turned off (another time to turn it off is with panning, unless your system allows you to restrict IS to one direction only like mine does).
Some other things which can reduce your blur in this instance however, would be triggering with a remote and using mirror lock-up.

Yeah its cool
Yeah, I don't have a remote trigger either. Well I do have a wireless Infrared trigger which is supposed to work with my camera but for some reason it never seems to work. It worked with my entry-level body but not with my pro body, though it's supposed to work with both. I should've just bought the wired remote, eh?
2 second timer is a good workaround for a remote. However, Mirror lockup is still the best. It'll give you the 2 second delay (or whatever amount you want), but it will lock up the mirror first then open the shutter after that delay time. That way you don't get the mirror slap to shake the camera.
Great moon photo by the way, I forgot to say. Especially with a full moon, that's good detail. Full moons are a lot tougher to get detail out of than say a half moon or such, because of the lack of shadows.
For instance, here's a half-moon pic I shot long time ago... cheap lens, lightweight tripod, and no mirror-lockup or even time delay. You can tell by the bright half that the image is not as sharp as yours, yet it still shows the cool craters and such on the shadowed half because it's not a full moon....
You've shown enough skill shooting a full moon, I'm sure you could get an even more killer pic of a partly shadowed moon.

@Wizzadroid both this pic from moon and the others from sunset are really nice, thanks for sharing them! (I wanted to tell you this by private of profile message since this threads are really old but I guess you don't have them)
I wonder how many people have gazed at this nabor of our's and wondered, Just how?
Wow, amazing. I love the moon a lot but never got the chance to use a hi-tech camera to shoot it.
May peace bestow this world,
May our hearts unite.
Life may not be smooth as pearl,
But pray for our decisions to be always right.
Life may be hard, it's a big pain in the butt. But hey, who says behind all those pain, can't hide some happiness ?
Such a good shot of the moon. :3

Wow, it's really looking fantastic and fabulous, you have done the very great job. Generally clicking moon photos is not an easy and simple thing, it's required some special guts. Because all are saying some rays will come and those are not good for health.
