All I'll say to the sound of a blade and the graphics, there'll be a mod for that. At least on the PC.

Oh Bethesda will probably patch it if alot of people wants a new sound.
They`re not stupid :P

Found a better waterfall, but the fall is in 2 motions, instead of one :P

My brother just said that they failed on the flowers around the world, that they won`t reappear once they`ve been picked. That has to be wrong? :P
They did say that flowers you pick goes away but grows out again once a month or something, but it looks like the flowers just withers instead of going completely away.

I went to the Blacksmith in Riverwood and went to the anvil and clicked activate on it, got an animation that was quite bugged and funny :P

My brother Fraps`d it, same bug on PC.

As far as I remember the flowers didn't respawn in Oblivion either.

In Oblivion you don`t pick them, like they don`t go away from their place.
It regrew once a month or so.
I think flowers reappear in Skyrim, pretty sure I had picked some near the road I was on and when I got back from looking at the salmon jumping in the waterfall it had regrew :P

I started playing last night, and I love it. I was never a big fan of the Elder Scrolls series, for a number of reasons, but Skyrim is great. It's still just as open-world as Morrowind or Oblivion, but it feels a lot more structured. Character customization has been greatly improved - they actually look like people now - and it looks and sounds great. Already level 26 while still being relatively early in the game, as I've been tearing through side-quests and clearing every dungeon I come across.

We'll have to wait for new computer to play Skyrim so just watching Let's Play on YouTube for the time being. Adding the BioShock style to the magic was one of the greatest decisions made.

My brother is now a level 4 vampire, at that level everyone will attack you.
The guy who are supposed to help you remove the vamperisme also attacks you(PC) :P
Even if you`re supposed to get to him before you become lvl 4, there should still be away to get rid of it.
He has even tried to type "stopcombat" in the console, the guy is still hitting him with a dagger :P

He figured out that he could just drink some blood to get his level down.
But he`s pretty sure that he didn`t sleep in the time before he became a vampire :P

Not me. But I've only played about 8 hours. It does seem to put a pretty serious strain on your hardware though (my computer fan is running like crazy, even though I've down-clocked it enough to not normally do that in games). So it could be temperature related.

On another note, I must say that Skyrim actually manages to do snow fairly well. It's very rare to hear proper creaky footstep noises when walking on snow in a game. And blizzards look fairly realistic too. Furthermore, it doesn't mix up snow and ice like some games do.

The animal AI is also fairly impressive. Wolves and the like feel very unpredictable.

Well looking around, I'm not the only one with it. Read people suggest turning shadows to low and aa off but that didn't fix it for me.

Alot of pc gamers are getting hard freezes.

I had no problems with this. Stay away from the end that breathes fire. Whack it in the butt, preferably doing power-attacks with the biggest baddest two-handed weapon you can find.

I like two handed weapons. Dual-wielding, stealth, shields and magic is for chumps. I one-hit kill almost every non-boss enemy with my claymore.

Can't like the page since I don't have a FB page. Don't like it or Twitter. And it's not so much a hard freeze (as in wont unfreeze) but a bunch of 15 to 20 second freezes. Sometime right after one another. After much testing I can say I doubt it's tied to my settings since no matter what I change it still happens. Just hope it's not a heating issue like Eris is thinking. And by first dragon do you mean by the tower? If so, just get to its side at attack and move with it when it rotates. That or you could be like me and just dual cast flame/spark/frost at it. Watch its hp soar down.

@Eris Then I'm chump king since I'm loving magic. Ice spike through a guys head? Yes please.

If it is the CPU, you could try to lower the shadow settings (which, according to the conspiracy theories is rendered mostly on CPU).

But first you should try to verify that this is indeed is the cause of the problem. Try to dig up some temperature monitoring software for CPU and GPU (with logging, as temperatures drop really fast after a crash) and see what sort of temperatures you get when running Skyrim (and make sure you run it until it crashes, to see what they're at when that happens).

For the first dragon you have a party of NPCs to assist you, so it isn't that bad. I just ran to the top of the tower and pelted it with arrows, running back down the stairs when it blew fire over me. I stumbled across another dragon in the wild and killed it with my two one-handed weapons fairly easily.

I found the second scripted dragon to be a lot more difficult - I just couldn't avoid its frost/fire. I tried using a shield, and that didn't help at all. I got it on my fifth try, after switching back to dual-wielding.

Also, my sneaking skill is through the roof; I'm invisible to most common enemies until they're damn-near on top of me. Also, my smithing skill is ridiculous. Legendary dragon armor is great, though Glass armor looks infinitely better.

You have a few deseases then. Any buffs/debuffs can be viewed in the magic window. Go to the Telos statue in Whiterun and pray their to be cured.
