Yes and no. There are those that have a good PC for exclusive games but prefer getting games for the 360 or what ever console.

You do know you can use a PS3 controller on the PC right? And you miss out on some really good mods. Though you tend to just get garbage mods at first since the good ones take time to make. But yeah, modding>DLC in most cases.
Fallout 3 on PS3 = Crap
Fallou New Vegas = Crap on both consoles, mostly on PS3 I heard.
and Oblivion doesn't run good on the PS3 I heard as well.
Yet you want to get it for PS3? It's not about the mods but it's also about how well the game will run.
hey now, I'm getting it on ps3.
my computer can't handle those types of games. and I'm not into spending tons of money to play one or two games >_>;
The Brighter the Light the Darker the Shadow
But you said you don't have a good PC so that's your only option.
I'm talking about the people will good PCs.
I'm buying a new PC to run Skyrim. I just HAVE to play it.
If all else fails, hopefully my iMac won't let me down. It probably will.
They stole my hand to hand. /cry
They made the guard system better. /yay
More than 5 voice actors. /yay
DUAL WIELDS WITHOUT MODS. /yay
HORSES ARE BACK! /yay
Fast travel stays! /yay
I so wanna get this game. =D
Shame I can't pwn them hand to hand with my tiny woodelf girl anymore.
Ah well, we get screams in return.
Just wait for the mod Amb. There was one that fixed unarmored in Oblivion. Wasn't done the greatest, since they had to do work arounds with various scripts, but it was better then nothing for someone playing a mage or monk type char. Though I am glad the travel system was restored. The payed one not the fast one.
Don`t care about mods, except for the extensions made by Bethesda (i.e. Shivering Isles)
And stuff like that will be dlc on PS3 and I`m ok with paying more to Bethesda.
I`m sure Bethesda will do good work on the PS3 version and if there is bugs which there will be at first, they`ll fix them.
If they don`t fix stuff for the console users, they will lose a big part of their fanbase.
No more criminal scum
This is a Sig. It's horribly out of date.

You're so screwed.
Hey look, Japan made a movie about me!
Saw that.
Release it on the bloody Wii then.“We wanted to take it and make it really accessible,” the producer said.“… We still have the complexity behind the scenes, but we wanted to make it so that you could pick up the controller and play and it was easy; the average person could get into it…We knew we wanted to make the user interface a little bit more open and available … get away from the stats and things like that.”

Well crap, there's one game to scratch off my to get list. Really, stick to your core audience. They're the ones that are going to get you the most money. Especially with dlc being popular these days. A casual gamer will buy it with a 50/50 chance he'll hate it and if he does he'll never play again or buy the dlc. The big of money you lose out on is easily made up for in dlc sales. Bad move on Bethesda's part.
Hope that`ll be the case for Mass Effect 3 too xD
That was deffinitly not the case for Mass Effect 2, it`s still pretty buggy on the PS3 and it`s pretty obvious that it would be easier to use a mouse on that power wheel thing and on the pause menu.
@GameGeeks
Most gamers play on a console, becaus most people can`t afford to buy new hardware everytime a game their pc can`t play come :P
And most games looks the same in graphic on console to PC, consoles aren`t as bad as the PC gamers think :P

I don't really understand why people are shocked from the fact that they will use consoles as lead platform. Oblivion and Fallout 3 also had consoles as lead platform. If people loved these games, how Skyrim will fail this? It still have large mod support, so if gfx is going down - we'll just mod it much better. Simple as that. So GameGeeks, don't panic so easily. It will be good.
Oblivion had PC as lead platform. Dunno about fallout ... but from what I've seen that VATS system ... yes, that's typical console-like crap.
In general all fps and fprpg ported from consoles suck ... it's simple, such genres just can't be played on consoles with their gamepads. They get "optimized" for such controlers, and when ported on PC they keep this lame "optimization". How many times I just quit a game due to this ~_~;
fps and fprpg should be build having in mind the usage of keyboard and mouse ... and not a gamepad.
From what I've seen of Skyrim's gameplay - especially the interface ... I already hate it.

No, Oblivion is really a console lead platform. I mean, you can tell by the obtrusive UI and everything that it is UI console.
I do have hopes for Skyrim though.
E3 Demo
@Des Only games that are better on consoles are fighting games---and that's because of the community.

Just a little fix for you - Oblivion had console as lead platform, but engine (Gamebryo) had not.
