Colouring and shading

Something I've been doing for a while now ...

I can't draw freehand worth a damn - but at one point decided I could trace the pictures I like and then shade/colour them.

Started off with pencils - and eventually got a PC capable of not screaming in fright when I loaded Photoshop, and shifted over to that



The pics here are one of my pencil/shading efforts, and then my very first attempt in Photoshop

Wow that's great for your first atempt on photoshop! Did you use a tablet?

Yeah ... I did. The idea of doing it with a mouse was, to say the least, a little off-putting

I like the photoshop one a lot...What tablet are you using? It seems like a good one!

Naw - I think as far as tablets go, it's pretty basic actually - I should probably mention that it takes me ages to finish a picture :P
