It's "Peter Pan and the Pirates" from Fox Kids. I remember seeing it back in the early 1990s and thinking it was awesome. Anyone else remember this? And if you do remember it, what did you think of it?

I don't remember it. I was toddler in the early 1990s. How old are you?
lol I remember that one, can't say I much care for it. As for age lmao I'm 31...so I remember a LOT of things lol, but hey I don't LOOK or ACT my age! Young ppl still have trouble keeping up with me, some times literally.
I wasn't even born in 1990.

Rings like a vague bell, but I don't really recall.
My thanks to Xey Oiz for the awesome new set.

I'm 25 now. I was born in 1985, so this is one of the first cartoons I'd ever seen, but not the VERY first. I remember an even older one. It was called "Stunt Dogs". One day (I must have been about 5 at the time) I decided I wanted to watch a cartoon. Previously I'd periodically seen clips of cartoons while watching other stuff on TV, but at this point I really had just wanted to watch a cartoon so one morning early I went down to "mommy and daddy's" bedroom and woke one of them up and asked what channel I could find a cartoon on. The recommendation was channel 13 (that's Fox where I live, which is Seattle, WA). And so I went and turned to channel 13. Then the first cartoon I saw was Stunt Dogs. So that's how I discovered cartoons and that channel 13 was a good channel for them.
Of course later after 1990 (not sure exactly what point, or may have even been in 1990) they got the dedicated cartoon time segment FoxKids, later FoxBox, 4KidsTV, and now The CW (if I remember right, though I don't watch anymore as all their shows suck now). But ever since I was like 5 I had been a loyal viewer of cartoons on channel 13. As I got older I grew out of most cartoons as they were aimed at little kids. However in my teens I'd still watch SOME cartoons (like their X-Men and Batman etc cartoons if they were still on) and of course I watched anime on channel 13 when they started carrying anime (like when I was about 15yo). Sadly the animes they ran like from 1999 to 2003 (which were very epic) aren't the same types they run any more. In the last few years they've gone to a bunch of sucky shows. So I don't watch the animes or cartoons on channel 13 anymore. Now I download stuff I want to see from torrents instead.

Was that really on Fox? I'm pretty sure the only cartoon I would watch on a daily basis at the time was Sailor Moon (which was on UPN at the time). Although I might have seen it in Spanish, I used to watch a lot of Spanish dubbed cartoons/ anime on the Spanish networks and on random VHS tapes my dad would pick up at a bodega.
Thanks for the sig Xey Oiz ^.^
Please don't flame me in my own thread. This was a decent thread until you came posting jokes about my immaturity for my age by claiming I'm younger than I really am. These kinds of flames belong in threads where I actually said something you didn't like. And nobody else is complaining about this thread, so it's a good thread. If you wanna flame me, send it to me in a PM or something. Otherwise either STAY ON TOPIC, or else GET OUT OF MY THREAD!

Yeah, in 1990 they may not have had Fox Kids, but at least channel 13 (the local TV station) may have run cartoons themselves during a time that wasn't a national network Fox broadcast (meaning I'd have seen it in Seattle, WA, but someone in Portland, OR wouldn't have seen it), or maybe they did have an unnamed Fox cartoons segment at the time, or maybe Fox Kids actually started earlier that either you or I remember.
I don't remember that one, but when I was little they send this one on tv again, behold from 1989 The Adventures of Peter Pan/Peter Pan no Bouken:
I definitely remember this series. I watched it every morning on Fox until my station started doing morning local news. I havent seen the show since then and that was a long time ago.
My favorite episode was the mini-series when Peter started growing up and forgetting Neverland; which was disappearing since Peter was connected to it. It got really dramatic toward the end. Even Hook wanted him to snap out of it.
If I remember right, Tim Curry was the voice of Hook. The man has such a recognizable voice.
yeah i remember it. I used to wake up early on the weekend to watch it.

Nope I'm way to young for that :S

I don't believe this Peter Pan anime ever aired in the US. It's certainly not available on VHS tape or DVD anywhere. I live in the US and never saw it on TV. I did however manage to find a torrent of it in Japanese spoken language with English fan subs. I even used it to make an AMV.

(sorry for lower video quality, but only cause its on metacafe, which is only because when I posted it to Youtube a while ago my Youtube account was permanently suspended for "copyright violation")

DD do you guys remember fighting foodons?? it was EPIC :3
Never take life seriously. Nobody gets out alive anyway \(^o^)/
I remember the Fighting Foodons was an anime that was good for only one thing, the theme song. The plot was REALLY lame.
Anybody remember this cartoon? It was called The Bots Master. It aired here in Seattle on channel 13 (Fox-Kids) in the early 1990s. It was on 6 AM on weekdays. I remember getting up VERY early in the morning like this when I was a little kid and sneaking out of bed to watch it. It was AWESOME! And from watching some clips of it more recently on youtube, I still find it one of the best NON-Japanese cartoons out there (I think it was made in France, from what I've read about it online) in terms of sci-fi action animated shows. Here's my animeforum gallery of pics I found on this other guys site (actually only a small fraction of all the pics he has) and reuploaded here.

Here's a link to that other guy's site. He's got TONS of stuff about this cartoon.
