Arizona Photos: Antelope Canyon & Horseshoe Bend

These are some photos from the area around Page, Az. Most of them from the Antelope Canyon, which is a slot canyon. Slot canyons are formed by water rushing through the rock, this makes them very deep and narrow. It also carves waves into the walls of the canyon, which gives the stone very interesting properties.

The second one looks like a heart. The third one reminds me of a desert like landscape.

That's really cool, I've never seen anything like it. The texture makes it seem like water or even fabric I keep expecting it to move, just spectacular. I like that aerial shot as well and the stack of rocks made me chuckle =3

simply amazing Ace. I grew up in Arizona and always loved the caverns and red mountain landscapes. I am truly impressed and humbled by the beauty of nature you captured in such a magical way. No. 4 would have to be my favorite. Reminds me of a silk robe flying in the wind. Absolutely magnificent. Truly the work of a great artist.
