I have been following up on the manga for the past few months or so. While it doesn't look like there will be a Season 2 of it, the story continues on.

Just thought I'd give you a heads up on that. Now we know where Usui comes from and where Misaki's father has been all this time. Might want to check it out if you haven't already.

Regardless though, I would love it if they made a Season 2 for the Anime. >.<

Apparently the anime didn't sell well in Japan so they're saying no on a second season, but sometimes it picks up...years later. =( Bah. Honestly, I think this was the ONLY anime of it's genre that I liked...loved more like. xD Bugs me to no end when they leave a perfectly good anime incomplete when you see anime like Bleach, Naruto, DBZ and the like with hundreds of episodes. ^^;

So if you haven't kept up with the Manga wouldn't know that Season 2 is going to about Usui's family and mysterious background. That being said the release of the Season 2 anime will be in the Spring of 2013 March/April area. They waited quite sometime because the needed to keep the Manga ahead of the Anime. As of now the Manga story is that Usui is in Britain dealing with family matters and they aren't letting him leave until he accepts his family name and takes over the business, with this Misa-Chan gets worried and wants to go to Britain to see Usui. However Misa-Chan isn't "high-class" or "nobel" enough to be around where Usui is which is that nobel caste. So she learns manners and etiquette from the rich and fortunate school where Igarashi is school president. Misa-Chan and Igarashi are on good terms even though in around episode 13 or so of the anime she is kidnapped by him.

Main Idea: Kaichou Wa Maid Sama's Anime of Season 2 is coming out in Spring of 2013 right as the Manga is coming to a close for the current Volume.

I totally loved this anime, but I was a bit disappointed with the last few episodes, because jeez Misaki was soo clueless... Still, I've never felt so excited watching anime before this (and I thought I didn't like shoujo anime, really, I don't even know myself). I read the manga later on and I assure you it's much better, mainly because the story goes on and you can see Misaki and Usui's relationship's development and it explains many things. It would be great if they made a second season, really, cause I'm completely in love with Usui haha.
So spring 2013? Well, it might just be ready for my birthday!

I think there is actually Kaichou wa Maid-sama 2! Its' first episode will begin aring on March 30 2013.... Hope that calms you!

I just watched the first season recently and a second season would be good to see! There were a few things that bugged me slightly with regards to gender stereotypes etc. but on a whole, it was fun. It doesn't seem like there's much truth to this season two rumour though! I'm currently reading the manga anyway. ^________^

GYA~! I want to see the second season SO MUCH because the manga is just beautiful. I was really upset when the season 1 ended but I really want this to continue! Tsudukete kudasai!!!!
