Stuff that generates large discussion may branch out into it's own thread, but for the most part, this thread should be for the things that wouldn't really get that many posts if they were made into their own thread.

The rules are slightly more lax in this thread, so a little socializing is ok so long as you're focusing on whatever the topic at hand is. Blatantly spamming will get you in trouble, so please try to avoid that. Remember; keep it video game- oriented.

I have noticed that in the newer emulations, they've added a few things like you can "grind" against the walls to move just a tiny fraction faster which gets you out of a squeeze pretty good. Sometimes I wonder if it can still be counted a the "real arcade classic" in that case. .-.

Depends on what kind of games you're into. I mean, most pokemon games I can expect to waste spend about a good 300-400 hours of my life on them.

^That outside of RPGs which are down to about 20/25 hours. RPGs used to easily run you 40+ hours. And no, open ended games like FNV don't count since much of the time is spent traveling and exploring.

I honestly prefer always to complete the main SP campaign a time or two before jumping into MP (every game with SP/MP options)

I'm the same =] I'd rather get sucked into the story first, Understand whats going on then take it online =]. The only exception was Modern warfare 2 =P I couldn't resist going online :L

I agree with you to the fullest people never seem to play the campaign of a game any more people just seem to hop on to the multiplayer and never go on the campaign that the devs made for everyone to play to the fullest and get a good experience before playing the multiplayer and pushing DLC down the players throat.

I started playing League of Legends which is in my signature. It's free, and pretty good. It's gotten pretty awesome if you guys want to look at it. I play it like once a day just to crush people in it with the character Warwick, lol.
