Do you live in the city or the country?

I live in the suburbs. Nice and quiet over here.

Too windy when there are nearby tornadoes though. Its funny cause its usually quiet, but when something happens its kind of a big thing. Like when our high school runners were running on this one bike path, some doctor went crazy and took a knife with him while riding a bicycle. Then he just started swinging the knife when he got close to the runners and a few were injured.

Where I live is too small to be a city, but the place is "The City of Lewisville"...so I guess it's a city. My high school has over four thousand students. >_> It's quite crowded...

I live in the city but I've lived in the country also. The country is more peaceful, quiet, and beautiful in some ways, and easier to see the stars at night. Though the city does have its advantages- like I don't have to drive 20 miles just to get somewhere.

Sounds like someone has never lived in the country. Having lived in both for about equal amounts of time(I've lived in the city just a little longer) I can say the country is superior. Nothing like waking up and see those fields and mountains from your bedroom as the sun rises over them.

I would have to disagree. I currently live in the country and cities are much better imo. But thats mostly because its always cold, the neighbors suck and I hate nature, whereas an apartment is easier to heat, you have more neighbors so yes some will suck, but there is a better chance you will make some good acquaintances, and and its the city. you can walk everywhere and you don't have to worry about bears.

i live in a country...
which is a good 30mins from the city which is not really a city but a town...
the real city is 4hours away..
the other one is 8...

i study in a country too..
and the city is 1 1/2 hr away...

and if made to choose..
the country will always win...

I live in the rather crazy city of Richmond, Virginia.




I don't live downtown; I live in the suburbs (but I am only 10 minutes away from the ever expanding city, so...). However, Richmond has a nice combination of "country" and "city". You can use your street smarts in the counties (because they can be as busy as the city) and white-water rafting in the city (not joking, people can go downtown and freaking WHITE WATER RAFT; Richmond is the only city in the country that has class III and IV rapids within view of skyscrapers).

So I can live in the suburbs and enjoy the fall foliage, the wide open spaces, and some peace and quite but then turn around and go down the street to the super-regional sized mall.
