Oh man, I've been hearing some colleagues talking about tonight's match, I was like "I hope your fave team looses". The score came 0-0, but the best part is when the Serbs started ravaging the place (I just accidentally the news 5 minutes ago, is this bad?). Man, it was great, fires and eveything. I say we've been needing this stuff for a long time in this crummy place.
So, give me reasons why, or how retarded it must be to:
- Pay like 100$ for a ticket to a match on the stadium
- Go to it, wherever in the world the match is happening
- Get checked for weapons and crap at the entrance
- Get no free popcorn or anything
- Have to watch some idiots from far away play and get hurt and whine like little nancygirls, in a storm of noise on a plasic seat
- Get hit with stuff or beaten by angry fans and security guards indiscriminately
- Care about the match
- Know/care about the players, teams, finance, history behind the match
- Form serious political groups that think professional sports is srs bsns
- Shave your head and be a hooligan for the indirect sake of your fav team and 'doctrine'
- Talk/argue with people about it because you fail at other matters

I went to the LSU vs. Florida Gators in 08. The thrill of being with THOUSANDS of people just like you is very fun. I was even in a crowd of Gator fans but they were nice to me and offered to buy me a Florida shirt and said I should swap teams xD. Even though we lost it was still a pleasant experience. Though I would've felt better if I spent the 300 n something dollars for tickets to a game we actually won :/

4. It`s the one or a few places where you can shave your head and be a hooligan and not look like a douche bag.. because you can persuade your friends to do the exact same thing !! And.. Get away with for the day !

Hey, I got to many sporting events to scream in support of my team/country...
And I`ll keep going to them..

Maybe not a football match or something of that criteria..
Try Olympics... Now that is something that anyone can appreciate.

The only one event I wouldn't pay to go and watch is Formula 1 as you'd be paying to sit there and essentially watch most the race on TV might as well go to a good pub and watch it from there
