Username Change

I'm wondering, why does every user need to wait a month before changing their usernames? Is there anyway we can make it so anyone can change their username anytime? If not that's fine, just wondering why its like that

By the way, it can be rather annoying when the username grows boring and a quick change is wanted. <_<

I have something to add to it that isnt really part of the question so it may need its own topic.. But I misspelled my new user name, and knowing I have to wait 30 days can a mod fix it for me?

Slightly related topic, it's been 30 days but it won't let me change my username back to maverickgirl

Also, part of the arcade seems to remember me as my old username:

it's done to prevent users from constantly changing their usernames in order to try to confuse people.

If it's spaced out, like say a month, it's not so much of a problem.
