I really enjoyed this series.
Excalibur was the most awesomely intentionally annoying character ive ever seen lol.

Also Shinigami is epic when he gets angry int he fight against ashura.

Aslo i really hated makas voice when i first heard it, but it grew on me.

Awesome series. And although the manga isn't done yet, the anime was pretty good to. The ending was a little odd, but then again that's what happens when you end an anime before the manga is complete. I own all 51 episodes-and know where to find the recent manga releases. Medusa is the shet imo. She reminds me of Demona from Disney's Gargoyles. x3

I LOVE Soul Eater. I think it needs more epic fight scenes, though. The one between Shinigami and...ugh, what's his face...the dude that used his skin to wrap himself...yea, that fight was pretty nice, but too short.

And why do so many people dislike Maka's voice? XD I liked it.

I think the reason why the fight was so short was in part due to how the anime's ending was rather sudden; I haven't read the manga but I'm pretty certain that in the manga, that wasn't the last fight. o_o Correct me if I'm wrong though.

And, I've heard much much worse voices than Maka's. I actually preferred the dubbed version over the sub - I attempted to listen to Death the Kid in sub and it didn't really sit with me ... maybe I just need to give it more time, since dubs are generally not as good as original japanese audio. :/

DtK's Japanese voice actor is one of my favorites, though--Miyano Mamoru. Admittedly, his voice is a bit too mature-sounding for DtK... =.=

Yeah the ending was kinda like, "wat".
And yeah, maka's voice <3. I really liked the voice from Soredemo Machi wa Mawatteiru so I was already used to the voice lol.
Overall though, pretty nice anime.

The anime was pretty good, though I've only watched about half of it. I stopped because I heard how bad the anime ended up, so I switched to the manga, but I'm barely through the first few chapters. Good series though, I would recommend it.

I watched the entire Soul Eater anime and it was AMAZING, Excalibur is just win. Anyways I should start to read the manga soon enough. o_o;;

Maka's voice is one of the most annoying voices i've ever heard..

Aaargh, don't even mention her! I hated her from the very beginning, her behaviour was incredibly annoying and I started to hate her even more for what she's done to medusa...

Anyway, it's an awesome anime. Probably the best one I've ever seen. Unfortunately, the storyline becomes worse after separating from manga, but till that moment it's perfect. But I can't understand why anime-making guys are usually so bad at creating storylines. Almost always storyline in manga is way better then one in anime. Whyyyy?!

I liked the series but thought Excalibur was as annoying as all get out because he had absolutely nothing to do with the plot. Sure he was a little funny... (fool!) but... well... he got a little old after three full episodes of him. Thank goodness they weren't in sequence. ><; The rest of the series was really enjoyable though. Many of the characters had solid storylines and I liked how you weren't always sure of Death's intentions. There were some things that I really would have liked to see explored a little more, but overall, I was happy with it.

In the anime Excalibur was just dumb. They wasted an entire 30 minute episode on him at the beginning, and I believe another one later in the series.

In the manga it was a lot more...comedically effective. There's still those two incidents (one with Kid and Blackstar, and another with the random kid), but each is only one chapter, and they're separated by several volumes of material. Since then, Excalibur has shown up briefly a handful of times, and when he does it is hilarious. The last two times in particular have been amazingly funny.

I haven't watched all to many episodes like countless other animes i've stumbled upon. From what I have seen though was all to enjoyable. Lord Death be Pimp slappin everyone. Haha.

Soul Eater was one of the longest series I've seen in a while. It's also one of the first Dubbed anime's I've watched [since I watched it on Netflix. My TV is bigger than my laptop] The dub wasn't bad. I really liked Souls Voice. I hated Medusa with a passion but I want to cosplay her in her kid version.

I watched this AMV months before I watched the show and always thought Soul Eater was scary... Lol...
