Basic question really. Do you cosplay? And if so who have or who do you want to cosplay as?

Personally for me I don't cosplay. I'd much rather just watch an anime every now and then or attend a live WWE event. Front seats for the win.! Back to the topic.. I don't see a problem in cosplaying and I heard its pretty fun.

That's unfortunate. People spend thousands of dollars on wedding dresses every year just wear once. I really don't believe costumes are any different. Also if you have a really good costume you can wear it multiple times. I've worn my Hinata from Naruto costume to 3 different conventions now. It's a little worn out and needs some upkeep but it's still in pretty good condition.

Anyway, I hope you get to cosplay one day it is a lot of fun!

I am a huge cosplayer. <3 I love to cosplay, and the ironic thing is, I used to hate cosplayers for ruining the characters hahah But now, I thought if you do it well, and pick a character that doesn't look the opposite of yourself, I learned to get into it.

I have cosplayed Dark Mousse [DN ANgel], Alucard [Hellsing; won this in my middle school's anime club lol], Kyuzo [Samurai 7], Nekozawa [Ouran HHC], 3 [KND; school spirit week], 6 [from Tim Burton's movie 9; I won this in Florida Supercon], Prototype Disturbed cheshire [Tim Burton's alice in wonderland. You could say I'm kind of a macabre because I tried making this head mascot cute, but turned out scary to most XD hahahah Even the ghost hunter guys [from the show] said it freaked them out XD
Ed [Cowboy Bepop; really simple one, done it just by looking through the clothing I already had hhahaa], Merle [Escaflowne], Sheila [Advantures of the Tweeny Witches], Takuto [FUll Moon; tho kinda in the process], Talim [Soul Calibur; in the process also], and my most recent one, Zollo [I made my own One Piece cosplay group; and I made every single one of their costumes; Chopper, Crocodile, Cabaji, Nico Robin, and Mr 1 (tho only the first 3 could go) and we won ^^]

As for cosplays I made for a friend or another, would be Kagome [inuyasha; my best friend won this, and it was her first con and cosplay x3], and Yuna, and whatever cosplays my cousin does.

Hahahah my cousin's brother told us that too. But, why I rarely wear a csplay again, is because I have a huge cosplay list I would like to do before I disappear from this world. ^^

I don't have any pictures of the Light cosplay, it was pretty crappy anyways. As far as the L cosplay goes....

I Have a Vincent Valentine costume which was great. I Accidently broke the Cerberus which I put loads of work into D= And also my gauntlet broke over time :'( But I did get to perform in front of people while in the costume

I've cosplayed as Alice from Alice in Wonderland...my own version anyway~ I have a Gumi (Vocaloid) cosplay in the mail, as well as a Mey Rin cosplay on the way for Anime Boston. I'm now looking into Cosplaying as Blind Mag from Repo!

I've been cosplaying for the past 5 years or so, and my first cosplay that I had done was Sailor Tin Nyanko for Anime Weekend Atlanta in 2007. In 2008 I had done Queen Nehelenia, and for 2009 I've done original design M Block/Missing No and Rubeus.

For Ohayocon, I've done pretty much the same cosplays, but I added a make-shift Misa Amane cosplay. This year I'm doing Rubeus, girl!Mario and Peter Fisher/Kijin Shinokawa from the first season of sailor moon (you dont know who Peter/Kijin is, look up episode 17 for the original, episode 14 for the english dub)

I cosplayed a few years ago at a local Anime Con, I think it's cool but it's all in how well you create your costume(s) and not wearing something that you shouldn't be wearing, cosplay disasters hurt everyone not just you... :X lol

I've only cosplayed once and i admit that it's really fun, just felt embarrass because i don't know anyone there except for my best friend who knows a ton of people there. I really want to cosplay again if i have the time and money ^^

My mom used to say something similar. though now she let's me to spend a little on it, just not to deprive me of the things i want to experience. But she still doesn't want me to spend most of my money on anime stuff

T^T I'm not sure I understand correctly.

I would love to cosplay, but it's a big issue in the money department but also in the looks department. I don't want to cosplay as someone who I don't think I would look anything like (if they were real) which is probably dumb but I can't help it. Also, diane is dumb and would ban me from wearing it out of the house, and I don't have anyone who wants to do it with me, which makes me self concious. I will someday though, no doubt. >:3

My first cosplay was Natsuo from Loveless...which didn't go too well.
But then after a year or so I decided to be my favorite red-head, Gaara. I spent some time making a gourd out of paper mache, looking up tutorials on how to hide those pesty eyebrows ('cause shavin' them is dangerous...) and multiple times re-applying eyeliner.


I love cosplay. Not just wearing it, but seeing everyone else in theirs too. It's so much fun, you know? You can be someone else without hiding behind a monitor ;)
