Well for one that is why its called beta, but of course MMO's take even a little time after launch to truly hit their stride. Now keep in mind I can be a little more forgiving than most due to all of the MMO's I've played in the past. After going through Anarchy Online and Dark Age of Camelot's launches I'm more open minded lol. SWTOR does have a few issues I find annoying. There are no voices specific to race, just class and gender. So a human male jedi knight will sound the same as the other male races you can pick to be a jedi knight. One thing I've hated about most other MMO's is the lack of variety in healer classes. Even WoW at first had really only one good healing class until they did some work on the Druids and Shaman, although having not played as one I don't know if it was really successful or not. Same with tanking, there are a few different tank type classes, so plenty for people to try.
But more than anything the idea of having an overall story for your class, companions to use when soloing or even just to balance party of 2 or 3. The Flashpoints i played were very interesting and even more story focused than the instances from WoW. Honestly you feel like its both a KoTOR game and an MMO rolled into one. And honestly I'm not that big of a Star Wars fan, only really seen the movies and played the games, don't read the books or comics or anything like that. And for people who aren't sure, waiting a few months is a good idea, since obviously there are some bugs that need to be worked out, but there is a lot to work with, a lot to experience, and I'm seriously hooked on the space missions lol. Maybe some time soon I'll do some PVP Warzones to see how they compare to WoW's Battlegrounds.

Fire Emblem- Sacred Stones (GBA)
Finished Mass Effect 2 just two hours ago.
After finally getting my first DS, I went out and bought a previously owned Metroid Prime Pinball. I told myself years ago that it would be my first game. After playing it for one day, I blew away 2 of the previous owners high scores and nearly beat the main story mode. I guess I was having a good day for pinball. Its an awesome game and wish they'd make more eventually.
I'm also borrowing a friends copy of Rhythm Heaven. That game is quite a challenge if you're not 100% focused. When you aren't, its maddening.
