What is Love?

What is love? Baby don't hurt me. No more.
All I can think of when I someone talks about love is that song, or other songs. I have never been in love, but everyone says its the best thing ever. Is love really that special? My parents say my life will be completely changed when I fall in love for the first time, but I don't think i'm the kind of person to either fall in love, or to change my views because of love/another person. So, what is love?

Well, there's two types of love.

Love as, you can love your family, friends and comrades.

And There's love, which could involve naughty things, Yohohoho.

But if you show both type, they still mean that you care about that person and "it"'s very important in your life.

Hmm… Well, here’s what I think:

(There are two types of love, Romantic love and Platonic love)

Romantic love for me is
A strong feeling that when you finally experienced or felt it, it will either make you a better person, or take away your sanity.
An experience where you will learn to sacrifice, do the things that you’ve never imagined.
Sometimes it drives you into doing the most unlikely things.
A feeling that makes you say the words you never thought you could ever say.


And Platonic love for me is
Compassion, unconditional love
Taking care of other people, like your family, relatives, friends, blah

Love is special, only if you know how to handle and take care of it.
And for me, it is the best thing coz… well, how can I explain, hmm… just imagine this how the world will be if each and every person love one another. Wouldn’t it be the best?

Love is a stimulation of the mind when you see someone of intersrest...or someone you care for so deeply that you cant understand why you do. When you dont know why youd go to the end of the earth for somone.. or just want to see that person smile when they are sad.. then youre in love..

Well, theres some things I'd never do for another person. Like go to a Justin Beiber concert or watch the Twilight Saga. That's why I don't think I'm the type of person to fall in love. No matter how much I like a person, there's some things I would never do.

I'm sure your making sense to some people, but to me you just sound like most other people I've talked to about this. I think money is the best thing ever. When I'm holding some money in my hand, or thinking about money, or looking at money, I just get this warm fuzzy feeling inside. I don't really think I've felt that way about a person. In my mind, chances are, I will always value money more than people, but thats just me :P

But I doubt it when the day comes and you finally fall in love.

It is suoer special. I can't even explain how it feels. I've been in love for 2 1/2 - 3 years and am getting married soon. Its such an amazing feeling its really hard to explain wat exactly love is or true love for that matter. But when u get it u will know it. Trust me. U will just know.

If you say so Ellx. peace. I just think money is the greaest thing ever. You can do so much with it. Spend it. Save it. Swim in it. Sleep with it.It can get you just about anything you could ever want, and for those of you who say, you can't buy love, well, I would rather have a ton of stuff than love anyway, making it a moot point. Also, money can too buy happiness.

To me...(being an old soul and romantic who is definitely born centuries out of place, right Lady*Kikyo?) love is a sense of the mind, body and soul. All parts of a beings existence are affected. By true love that is. It is a feeling that leaves you without words, knowing that you would do anything, give anything, risk anything just to be in the very presence of that one person. Just to have them breathe or smile, you would even sacrifice your own life for the needs of one you love. Love is completely selfless and for someone to say there are boundaries in love is to say you can live with food but you don't need water. Love is endless and can even transcend time, space and life. I do not believe in "til death do us part". True love is something that not even a mortal existence can hope to hold a barrier to. Love is unconditional, completely without limit yet it is not magic...and must be maintained. So there is my two cents.

To the risk my own life for the person part, there are a lot of people in my life who I would take a bullet for...in the leg or something that is. I don't think I would care about anybody enough to make me knowingly risk my own life for theirs.

It is understandable to think that way...to risk your life for the sake of another is not a normal human response however like I said, true love is something divine and can give you the strength of will to be willing to sacrifice EVERYTHING for their sake. The "me" becomes irrelivant and could be just as insignificant as the whether there is one grain of sand on the ground or a million. Completely irrelivant. In love, you must learn to live for the other. Your own needs do not matter. For if you are truly in love and that person returns that love on the same level, your needs will be met regardless. Your own emotional safety is kept in check by the fact that you place everything in their hands and trust them with it all. They could make or break you in an instant. Love is giving them that choice and not being afraid of the fact that they could. Love is power. Divine power and trusting in that power.
