    Default Are these sentences correct?!

Hello! I just came home from a trip to Japan and I missed a Japanese test in school. Due to the unpacking I forgot my keys/locker keys e.t.c. and couldn't get my book and the makeup test (or whatever you call a late test) of course has to be tomorrow! >.< But enough whining! My teacher seems extremely interested in my trip as she's Japanese and I have a VERY strong feeling the assignment will be writing about my trip in some way.
I just want to know if these sentences are correct/make sense... Thanks!

Ima watashi ga Kyoto ni imasu.
    - I am in Kyoto now. (This one feels... wrong in some way...)

Akihabara ni ikimashita kara, anime to manga ga suki desu.
    - I went to Akihabara, because I like anime and manga. (Not entirely confident in my "kara" skills yet)

Mainichi toriniku wo tabemasu. Nihon no toriniku wa totemo oishii desu.
    - I eat chicken everyday. Japanese chicken is very tasty.

Kinou Tokyo kara Shinkansen de Kyoto ni ikimashita.
    - Yesterday I went to Kyoto by the Shinkansen, from Tokyo. (Looks noobish and could be wrong.)

    Thanks again!!!

Ima watashi wa Kyoto ni imasu.
    - I am in Kyoto now.

I'm assuming you're not trying to emphasize the subject "I", i.e. you're not trying to say "I, not anyone else, am in Kyoto now." You're merely stating that "I am in Kyoto", so you want to use "wa" to place the emphasis on what comes after it--the fact that you're now in Kyoto.

Anime to manga ga suki desu kara, Akihabara ni ikimashita.
    - I went to Akihabara, because I like anime and manga.

Not a major problem here. You want to put "kara" after the "because" clause. Your original sentence means "Because I went to Akihabara, I like anime and manga," which sounds funny in its own way.

Mainichi toriniku wo tabete imasu. Nihon no toriniku wa totemo oishii desu.
    - I eat chicken everyday. Japanese chicken is very tasty.

Honestly, though, using "tabemasu" instead of "tabete imasu" is not the end of the world. It's certainly not wrong, but just not as natural-sounding.

Kinou Tokyo kara Shinkansen de Kyoto ni ikimashita.
    - Yesterday I went to Kyoto by the Shinkansen, from Tokyo.

"noobish" you said? I don't see a problem here. XD

And of course, these sentences sound fine by themselves, but that doesn't mean they'll sound okay in any given context, so you might wanna be a little cautious when you use them in an essay, and make some necessary changes if you need to.
