relationship advice plz?

So, I like this guy.. and he likes me. The problem is all my best friends perceive him as a *bleep*. He's kind of a "bad boy". He can be a *bleep*, but never towards me.

I've always had a strong opinion that girls should trust their friends opinion about a guy from the start... hoes before bros. Totally. But I'm starting to wonder in this case...

If anyone would like details in order to give me fair advice, I'm willing.

Ooh looks like you're in a bit of a tangle. Maybe you guys could start dating and get to see the real side of him? Even if it's just one or two dates? Or maybe not even classified as a date but just go with him as friends to see a movie or something.

But still always have an open mind to what your gal pals say. Listen to both sides of the story before you want to make the next chapter.

As mentioned in the post above, you could start dating him. Notice how I said dating, not sleeping. People rush that nowadays. If you think he's a jerk, good. If not move on.

Btw, guys always act nice to a girl but then after a while reveal their fangs. So you better watch out for that.

Meh, your weird logic does not compute to me. If two people love each other they should go for it, even if the whole world is against it. Love is universal. Hopes all ends good, it's all right to take it slowly, but you shouldn't throw love away just because of what other people might think.

I'd say go for it. If ur friends r true friends will stick by ur side. It shouldn't matter who u date. I startes to date a guy my friends didn't like at first but now we've been together 2 years and gettin ready to get married in october. Fallow ur heart all the way.

'Bad boys' are usually compensating for something.
Even if they aren't, most I've seen have been dicks in the relationships they've been in.
Ultimately what you decide is up to you, though my advice is to listen to your friends and try to look out for someone who's 'real' and you can get along with, rather than someone acting the 'bad boy', especially if they have no real reason to do so.

Okay first off I have much expertize in this sort of problem. I've been dealing with something like this for about 6 years.

More than likely your friends will ALWAYS see the bad in the person you like and never the good. I've liked someone since middle school and everyone then always asked why I hung out with him and that he was so mean. But that just proved that I knew him better than they cause I knew what he was really like and it wasn't like what they saw. ^-^ Also my best friend HATES him. Like seriously I'm sure if it wasn't against the law she'd already kill him by now. >.> He hasn't done anything to her but I guess judging from his personality and the fact that shes my best friend it's only natural for her to care about me.

However just ignore your friends. Who knows they might even be jealous themselves. I received a lot of that too among other girls in my class back then. Just take it slow do NOT rush. Rushing is what ruins any relationship. You should be fine by taking your time and being rational. If it suddenly proves to be more than you can handle back out. Because years down the road you won't have the strength to. Guys like that can get cha ahaha. Good luck!

I am unsure as to what you mean by "bad boy", but I do know that domestic violence is a dreadful problem. If any warning signs are noticed that early on it should raise some red flags to stay far away. I don't know if that's the case here or not, but I feel the need to point that out just to be on the safe side.

It is also good to keep in mind that there are like.. 6 billion people on the planet. Probability is quite high you'll find someone better if said person turns out to be.. not so good.

Does he wear a leather jacket? If so, then go for it, cause leather jackets are awesome. Also, don''t let your friends run your life. Its fine to hear what they have to say, but don't let them make the decision for you.

Unless your friends have history with the guy or know him very well, I'd say go for it. My best friend is dating a guy that all our other friends thought was a "bad influence," "trouble," etc. because he was perceived by the town as a "gangster"... driving around in his truck blasting rap. However, she ignored what everyone said about him and went for it. They have been dating for a few years now and he is amazing to her.
So I'd say go for it... if things work out then great. But if not, oh well. You can at least say you tried and not have regrets. Your friends are great for looking out for you, but ultimatly it's your life and you can't let others run it for you.

All i can say is go for it. He may be good, or he may be the exact opposite. You gotta find out yourself. I don't have any experience with dating at all, but you should approach with caution because months into it he possibly may become abusive. (It's just a "What If" situation so don't worry about it.)If this does occur, get out of it.
