does using the death note shorten your life span

this is something that has ben buzing in my head. and i think using the death note does shorten the life span of the user. this is just my thoughs of the death note users

I think the user can neither go to heaven or hell and if u take the eyes deal your life gets shortened. Im not sure I havent watched death note in a long time.

-Yup the death note itself dosent shorten your life but once you use it you can neither go to heaven or hell
-If you take the deal for the Shinigami Eyes that shortens your life span for half

I wonder what happens if I write "Clayton becomes an all powerful god and sheds his mortal body" in the deathnote.

Or could you lengthen your life by writing "Clayton Dies at the age of 3,0011"?

Here I come ( you can call me L for once ).You cannot lenghten you're life span by using the death note if you're human (there is no exception) but there is many way to shorten your life span (and it can be useful) . Actually by just using the death note you're not shorten your life span. The rules that says:"you cannot reach heaven or hell the user will go to nu" are jokes .
Because in death note's universe there is no hell or heaven at all and so everyone (that's include death note's user) will go to nu.
