Haha, ofcource you would like this game. X) I like the wolf you play as, it's bean a long time but i still remember it a little. To me the game was like a beutiful piece of artwork!

I love this game! It's one of my all-time favorites! Too bad the sequel was a bit disappointing. As for my favorite character, mine would happen to be Ushiwaka (or Waka). By the end of the game he turned out to be more than just a half-baked prophet. I really enjoyed his character.

Oh and @Explorer Oak her name would happen to be Amaterasu based off the Japanese deity Omikami Amaterasu. And I agree, this game was more than a video game.
It was traditional artwork at its best, presented in modern ways!

I believe that it is influenced by sumi-e (Chinese brush painting) despite the game taking place in Japan. Definitely looks like it.
