Default Umm, anyone here sew? I'm looking for a traditional bento bag pattern

I've got a bento box - it is divided into 3 compartments (one tier though) and it is about 8 inches in length. Can't find any cute pre-made bags that can fit that size, all of them seem to be for the smaller, 6 inch two compartment variety

    Any ideas? Thanks!

    Sure.

first we'll assume all three compartments are of the same size. now we can say that the components of the box become = x^3

now will will divide the by the overall size, so (x^3)/8; and we get (x= 1^3)(8)

    Which then can be written as: (1^3 = 1*8) = 8

So then you divide the largest holding container you get: (6)/8 = 0.75

So really, you only need to use 75% of the box.
