Anthony Weiner RAEGES at republicans over 9000!

Democratic leaders made a motion to suspend the rules, a maneuver that prevented Republicans from offering amendments to the widely popular James Zadroga 9/11 Health and Compensation Act.
In a dramatic one-and-a-half minute speech, the New York congressman excoriated Republicans for mounting their opposition to the bill's passage on their inability to offer amendments to it.
"It's Republicans wrapping their arms around Republicans rather than doing the right thing on behalf of the heroes," Weiner said. "It is a shame. A shame! If you believe this is a bad idea to provide health care–then vote no! But don't give me the cowardly view that 'Oh if it was a different procedure'…"

Republican Rep. Peter King, also of New York, drew fire from Weiner when he tried to interject midway through the Democrat's tirade.
"The gentleman gets up and yells, trying to intimidate people into believing he's right–he is wrong!" Weiner shouted. "The gentleman is wrong! The gentleman is providing cover for his colleagues rather than doing the right thing!"
And later: "The gentleman will observe regular order and sit down!"

The Dems are creepily in lockstep, and getting the Republicans to agree on anything is like herding cats.

Both parties are absurd.

I'd lol if I wasn't so sick of these political pieces of crap always playing soccer using our rights as a ball.

Ok I hate both parties but I really really really hate the republican party of today. I am glad to see that atleast one dem grew a spine and said something.

Honstly the republican party needs to reform or die. If they reform into something that dose not spew hateful BS and say one thing and do another then I can stand them and might vote for one of them sometime.

The republicans no matter how good thy are I will notvote for them over a dem even though I am not with either party for the reasons that follow.
1. They will be forced to vote with the other republicans 99% of the time.

2. Over time the value's that I voted them into office for will become changed by other republicans.

People tend to forget that the mainstream media does not always accurately represent people, let alone the news. A distinction needs to be made between Democrats and Republicans and whatever news outlet is shoving their ideologies down our throats.

Besides, the Republicans don't have the privilege of having nearly as many hateful and cutthroat individuals working in their party as the Dems. (truth o;o;;

I still can't understand why we couldn't get a 3rd party in. It would solve most of the gird-locking that always happens. If the only way to get something done is by working together, and that's not going to happen, then nothing will get done. There needs to be some sort of balance that could give just enough to actually push forward, instead of there being just a dead halt.
