A certain individual with transgenderal intentions, of a gender opposite to yours wishes you donated your testicles/uterus to 'em. You are in perfect physical condition, your IQ surpasses 150, you have perfect teeth, you don't smoke and you've never been sick in your life. Also, you are a very young bachelor/ette, have a whole future waiting for you, and your family's full support in your choices. This singleton wishes to change gender by means of transplant surgery and, with your parts, conceive a child. A few powerful figures behind this person (showbiz managers, lawyers, et seq.) explain that this is the first time this will happen, and with it, they want to prove something to the whole world, something that will make those haters go "Awwww!" and change the world into a more tolerant one; the community will be ever-so graceful. Underhand, you will receive enough money to wipe out through two colleges and own a brightly colored european car, not to mention afterdeath you will surely go to heaven with a discount at the Jacuzzi spot. Only inconveniences are:
1)you'll never make babies the easy way, like any mortal man
2)sperm banks and such are closed! Due to AIDS
3)you can adopt, but a guy I met once told me about his 10 year old adoptive rugrat:

Personally I wouldn't, this is just because I never want to see any part of myself become another person. (aka, I don't want kids-ever)

In general, I have no problem with this at all. I think it would bring social acceptance further so as to more quickly advance research into finding ways to ultimately reproduce non-biologically.

Donating organs you help some one who needs it and help to prevent a rich man from the third world to buy organs from a kidnapped and abused infant, plus when you're dead you won't need them anymore and they would be worms' food or incinerated anyway.

I'd apologize but after a comment like that I don't see the need to. Now if you where actually civil I would but that remark shows you're not. And my first sentence was taking it seriously. I would not, with the possible exception of one of my livers, donate something when I'm still alive.

Reproduction is not necessary for an individual to survive. And the only reason why someone would want to "have a kid that is their own" is nothing more than biology telling you to continue your genetics. Seriously, it makes no difference whether or not a child "is your own"; as if somehow the fact that you share half of your genetics makes them more "special" than all those orphans who grow up without anyone and then live the rest of their lives in total misery.

If you're a very desperate guy/girl with the loan sharks/mobs who on your tails demand to pay back the large sum of debt you own it's one way to get out the hot water fast without committing other criminal activities. How tempting the offer is, I'll rather keep my family jewel intact. Even, I need to go through the life paying your bills and work for my money, it might worth it. Sure, you will receive a large amount cash but on the long run, one might feel something is missing in their life. Hey, I'm just sayin'.

I do not intend to have children, and am actually considering donating my eggs to those who want children but who can not have them. So, yes something like this does not really bother me thus I would do it.

You know, the only kinds of cars that don't look lame with a bright paint coat on them just because they have around 600 HP under the hood. Plus, they're European: god knows how those people make cars, but they must be as good as their cooking.

I asked myself the same thing when I read about this brazilian couple who wanted to use the spouse's mother as a surrogate for their children because she had a certain uterine deformation. Now come on, Brazil? The #1 country that exports organs from millions of homeless kids? Couldn't they just adopt one of them? That's something to think about.

The problem here is that there are still a lot of people out there still have yet to figure out that their desire to reproduce is purely biological instinct, nothing more.

They need to wake up from their damned hubris and realize that the world doesn't work quite excatly like the fairy tale story as they would like to believe.

It's a product of millions of years of evolution, and while it gave us the chance to be here today, it is no longer necessary. If you feel the need to fulfill those basic instincts, adoption will suffice. However I for one, will most certainly not be controlled by unneeded instincts.
