Music is my life
Its the only thing that makes sense
Its the air I breathe
The very escence of my life
The one thing I can trust
The one thing that won't betray me
Or turn its back on me
I say again
MUSIC IS MY LIFE
the first tapes (yes cassette tapes) i ever purchased were madonna/like a virgin and bon jovi/slippery when wet
Backstreet Boys, the self titled album. I was such a fan back then... I mean, I still listent ot hem when I get nostalgic.
I would have to say the first album I ever bought would have to be Ace of Bass.
Eminem - The EMINEM SHOW
Justin Timberlake i cant remember the name of the album
The first album I ever bought with my own money would have had to have been Jeff Beck's Truth album when I was about 14. 40 minutes of blissful blues drenched emotion :]
Any 90s kids remember these guys? When I was young, I saw LFO perform "Girl On TV" on The Amanda Show. I instantly demanded that my mom buy their self-titled debut album for me (btw, one of the singers from Lite Funky Ones died recently, RIP).
If we're specifically talking about with our own money, it would probably be Owl City's Ocean Eyes (I never bought albums because I didn't get heavy into music until my mid-teens, and by then, the internet let me download any song I wanted) that I bought a few months ago just because I had money I wanted to spend for no reason.

Well my first english language album would have to be... uh probably Britney Spears or Backstreet Boys??? LOL I didn't buy it with my own money though.
If we're talking about my own money... my first album was a Japanese album.. Morning Musume's 'Second Morning'~~ ^-^
"love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things."
The very first cd that I ever purchased was Vol. 2... Hard Knock Life by Jay-Z...my parents didn't seem to care about the mature label warning.
