Upgrade issue thread

I'll just keep posting whatever upgrade-related issues I find, so that they can be dealt with when there's time.

• The 'Moderator' member category is broken. The following features are disabled for moderators:
  • Blogs
  • User groups
  • Albums (whatever that is)
  • Profile visitor messages
  • Market
  • Reps (?)
  • ... more?
• Some new threads seem to inherit posts from old vanished threads, and they appear -before- the OP of the new thread o_O

Note that this thread is for posting -specific- problems so that the admins are aware of them. Not "Q_Q I don't like the new design, why won't anyone change the logo to one with anime in it, etc." There's another thread for that old song and dance.

I can't stay logged in any of my names, even if I select "remember me" if I navigate to chat and back.

Chat wont let me log in on IE, just as a guest, it will only let me log in as Lady Gaga on Safari/Firefox, even though I haven't logged in on either of those. (Safari I've never used for animeforum so that's even weirder)

It also logged me out while I was trying to post this!

The only thing I can think of is to try clearing all cookies, closing the browser and trying again. I am not sure what else it could be. Have you changed passwords in the last month? They may be reset to what they used to be.

IT WORKED! Now that, that's settled, I was trying to add people to my lady gaga group right, and it's like.. well that user account got deleted. o.o why did that happen?

There seems to be an issue where you can only view the first 10 pages of some threads. The 'Post Spam accounts here' thread in staff is the only thread I've found to be affected, but there may be others.

Eris: Unsure about the thread issue, could be missing posts that it thinks should be there. I'll do a thread counters update at some point, but it'll take forever to run

I'm sure you have a lot to deal with right now, but let us know if it would be helpful for users to identify messed up threads (posts that don't belong) or if it's too early at this time or just not needed. Good luck!

It's not entirely obvious how to edit your blog entries. If you like hover the title, a pen-icon appears next to it. If you click that, you can edit the entry.

Ok, so not really a big problem at all, but does anyone know how to get rid of notifications? I've got two group-specific ones that popped up when I joined two of my groups, and no matter how many times I look through the groups, they still show as notifications.

Possibly more problems afoot with the moderator group, and/or my account. I can't add friends anymore. Only contacts. I don't get the 'Friend' checkbox on contacts I add.

I haven't seen it mentioned in this thread so far, but reps don't seem to be working for me.
It might be the browser I'm using (as Opera does have a smaller user share) but I've had no problems with rep systems on other vb boards.
I know mine would be weightless right now due to my account having to be remade, but it is a good way of providing someone spammy feedback showing support for something.

Furore: Can't confirm the problem, I emulated your account and was able to rep people, and I was able to give you rep from my account as well, whats the exact issue you're having?

I'm getting no popup or notification whatsoever when I click the rep button.
Basically exactly what I'm getting when I don't click the button.
EDIT: I'll download Firefox and try with it to see if it's because I'm using Opera.
EDIT 2: It worked under firefox so it's just an issue if using Opera which unfortunately for me happens to be my browser of choice.

I found a work around for anyone else who might be using Opera.
Right click the rep button and select either Open in New Tab or Open in Background Tab and go from there.
Not quite as conveniant as a little popup, but it seems to work.

In the community menu, there's a "User map" option. It's not working.

Spoiler tags seem to be broken. The text is visible UNTIL you hover it, then it becomes inverted. If you stop hovering it, it's black like it should be by default. Using Firefox 3.6.somewthing.

The links at the top of the page are always white, even over a banner with a white or very light background.

vbPlaza (or the "Market") does not work at all. (I want to change my user title...)

Edit: Oh, and my Friends count is "6" while I have only 5 people on my Friends list. o_O
