Are you going to be an organ doner?

Yes we are all human and will eventually experience the time of 'death'. Will you help others that still have their lives to accomplish? If this is personal matter in which you do not want to discuss that is fine, I understand; and I am sure others will understand to. I don't want to sound like a sadist mentioning and thinning about Death.

I will be an organ donor, however it is to young for me to decide yet. Do you believe in organ doning? Discuss and keep it spam free!!

Yes and no.

I wont put that I want to be an organ donor on my license or in my will. But I will put in my will. (xD) that a primary person is in charge of my body. I'd ask that person to donate some of my vitals..

Doctors are sketchy now a days. Even if there not, it's better to be safe then sorry.

I don't mind getting harvested after I cark it.
Better that crap help someone out than turn to dust (even if my lungs and kidneys are likely in worse condition than a recipients ).

I'm signed up for them to take whatever they want. I think there's something in your ears they can harvest too, I just ticked all the boxes. Not like I'm gonna be needing it right?!

I heard some religious people won't donate cos they see their body as holy or something...Anyone know about that? Maybe that's just the Jehovah's Witnesses (I don't think they have blood transplants...)

I would not have it on my licence because I believe that doctors are les likely to do what ever it take to save me If they have fresh organs at their disposal.

But in my will I will have it stated to take what they need and not to give them to junkies or hippies.

I know anything can happen at anytime, but If I find true love one day and I am going to die later on because I had a heart attack or I was diagnosed with a disease or cancer somehow I would donate my organs because I found what I was looking for.

I was actually thinking about this seriously last week. I'm a little uncomfortable with the idea that they would be cutting up my body, but it's not going to affect me after I die. The thing is thinking about it while I'm alive. Imagining it happening is kind of distressing, but then again, I'm not going to be conscious for it. Right now I'm leaning towards donating so that a part of me can help other people. So many people need organ donations, and I think it's kind of a moral crime that people do not help these other people who need it (since they are not using the organs themselves).

Honestly, I'm undecided :O it's scary to think someone would cut open my body when I'm dead and marvel at my organs like a zombie who sees brains for the first time sorry lol. Anything about death just scares me o.o;

I would love to help people but i can't imagine doctors cutting into me and

I already am. I don't see why I'd want my organs after I die. I wont use them and I could save many people. Tough there's always a chance that something like this may happen.

Whenever I die, it's up to the person who survives me. If they think that it'd be a good idea, then i wouldn't have a problem with it. Ultimately, if they did indeed donate my organs, and it actually saved someone's life, that would be wonderful. It's a shame that i wouldn't have the opportunity to see it all go down.

All major religions accept organ donation, whether by giving them or receiving them; there are a few religions, like Shinto (who favor the wholeness and the purity of the body and believe that the body is impure once a person has died), that disfavor it.

Even Jehovah's Witnesses accept. However, they require that the organs being transplanted be drained of all of the donor's blood because of their prohibition on the transference of blood (because of their understanding of Leviticus 17:10, 11; I will even set my face against the soul that eateth blood).

Anyway, when it comes to organ donation, I haven't really considered it. Not because I am against the idea; I simply haven't thought about it.

Though I will say that I donate blood and plasma on a regular basis.

When I die, people are free to ransack my body for various useful organs.

I'm kinda shaky on this topic. On one end, I want to help someone who needs the help, especially if I'm no using my organs anymore. But on the other end, when I'm buried, I want to be all original. I don't want be like a guitar, with different parts from different years.
