Default Fixed my old Nintendo Entrainment System

I have just recently fixed my old Nintendo Entertainment System and its working like new again. All it needed was a new 72 pin connector. However sometimes you still have to put in and take out the cartridge, and periodically I have to blow on it. But what do you expect from an old system that was from 1985. Overall though it works great and I feel like a kid again.

Here is a video of me fixing the NES with my dad (I know that some people might say that you can just tighten the pins. But trust me my friends that still have NES's too said to get a new one).

congrats! I am constantly conflicted on if I am a new gener or a classic gammer, I guess i can be both. I have a top loader NES but the Sega Genesis is really my glory days system. I'm dying to learn some repair techniques for it just in case, and to help others keep the dream alive.

Despite it looking terrible on my 32" TV, I have a modifed NES currently hooked up and I have another few consoles tucked away as spares or for parts.
There's just something I find timeless with consoles like the NES (and SNES for that matter) and some of those games will always be way too addictive for my own good, particularly Nintendo first party titles and arcade ports.

It's good to know there are some other old skoolers about here, some communities don't seem to get them.
