Don't you agree?
Personally, I find that Dragon ball Manga is totally addictive, but its Anime version is a total opposite.
Just my opinion - don't bash me up =x

I'm assuming you're talking about the original and not Z or GT. Dragon Ball is one of my favorite animes. I will admit it starts going down hill when Piccolo arrives but before that it always makes me laugh. You have the Agent Purple encounter, his fight in the first tournament with Roshi, his training with Roshi and his eating. Then there's all the sexual innuendos, mainly around Roshi.
No, I totally disagree with you.. the anime is fun itself. I reaaly loved it!
I've never watched the Dragon Ball anime but I really enjoyed the manga. I couldn't put it down and was constantly running to the store to pick up a new volume.
The manga ruled, totally. DB and DBZ was great, but it lost the main attractive thing about itself, the sexual-harassment comedy. When DBZ started it turned into something more serious, more action.
really you did not like it?
i love it.
(i have it all on dvd)
thats similar to how anime may stray from the story set by the manga. but sometimes the manga is produced at the same time the anime is (I think Mayo Chiki! was this way). Highschool of the Dead's anime strayed from the manga, although it probably did this to prove that almost every ecchi comedy has a beach episode...
I liked both the Dragon Ball anime and manga. Sure, the manga's story was slightly better, but still.
I'm on a never-ending quest for friendship, especially close friendships.
