Game Over

I made this a few days ago, but never got a chance to post. Its kinda weird, and really personal. I only think one person on this sight will truely understand the meaning behind this poem. Also, i saw many people trying poems without rhyming, so I figured I'd give it a try too!
OH! And i even put a reference from two of my favorite anime's in it.

Game Over
I Go to sleep with doubt and sorrow on my mind,
Only to recognize that these so called "dreams" were no longer dreams..
But reality

Submerged in a thick, overwhelming liquid, I scream
Scream so loud, my lungs ake from the will to fight, the will to go on

A shadow in the distance draws near,
fighting the current; laying a single hand upon my forehead
"I've always hated you," the voice croacked as it sliced through my cheek
Licking the blood that remains off the blade, it speaks once more: "I will be your succesor, the death of you"

Just than, at that moment, a serge of energy rushed through my crimson veins
Seconds flew by, and another jab peirced my woumbed heart, and my eyes grow scarlet

Unintentionally, my arm shot out and clenched the throat of my enemy
I speak quietly, with no consious of what is happening: "Game Over."
With a snap and a bang the shadow's body crashed
hard to the bottom floor of the liquid's surface
The bloodstained scent flutters to my nose, and I waft it near, without remorse

Now the liquid I lay in was no longer thick, nor overwhelming
But, calm and refreshing

These chains that were constricting me, were now tarnished
I was free, free to do what I want, free to cherish

Nevertheless, my dizzy actions overpowered my will
And I drift asleep into the calm abyss

Floating in "Her" blood, the stench of death begain to drift away,
My job was complete
The waters reflection, displayed me for who i am;
an Avenger.
